Sage chuckled and shrugged. "I said it might be a good idea at some point, not now," he protested with an amused chuckle. "Friends would be good," he sighed. "But there aren't many kids here right now," he pointed out. "What are you planning on doing with him? I'd have thought Luther would have brought him with him, especially knowing you were...well, not here to take care of him." He did wonder why the boy hadn't said anything about Luther...he hadn't mentioned him at all, and he hadn't asked where he was or anything. It was like he never even knew him. It seemed odd, really, but right then he was too tired to care. "I think I'm going to crash too," he hummed, amused. "You should get some rest too."

Anya rolled her eyes at him and let a smile run into her face. "You clearly haven't known him long enough. If we say maybe or at some point, he thinks it's going to happen tomorrow," she hummed with a light chuckle. She then sighed and hit her lip in thought. "I've sent a very angry letter to both my parents and Luther... and that's assuming he's at home. The other kids should be with my mother in the holiday estate. I've asked to come and stay with them while the castle gets fixed up, because it's not exactly... safe right now. Att will come with me, of course you can too if you'd like... though I take it you want to stay close to home for now," she eventually murmured before finishing off her food and standing up. Rest definitely sounded good... they could go put their things away and then get themselves to bed.

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "He has to learn patience at some point. Might as well be now," he hummed. Then he nodded and shrugged. "I can stay here. Your parents don't really like me, and I think the doctor could probably use my help," he hummed. "He looks exhausted." Then he stood up too, with a grunt, and patted Anya on the shoulder as he walked off. "You're welcome to stay or go," he called back to the girl, knowing she didn't really like to be alone. She could come in again, or she could go elsewhere...he didn't really care. As long as he could sleep he didn't care what else happened for the most part.

Anya shook her head slightly... she might as well try and stay in her own room. She couldn't run to Sage just because she didn't like being alone... the boy had to have some time to himself every now and then, anyways. "I think I'll be alright. Thank you, though," she hummed lightly.
The next few days seemed to be... slow. Like everything she did took forever. So got to work on trying to find someone to take care of all the horses, and she started fixing up her room and the rest of the castle for that matter. The weather seemed to be warming up again, so she had the maids start cleaning properly so that the castle didn't get musty while it was in this state... some bits were still damp, and it wasn't a particularly nice place to be, if she was being honest. Still, the girl found some sort of comfort in having something to do. She'd gotten word back from her mother... a half hearted apology for leaving them in the conditions they were in, and accepting the girls request to come and stay. That was good... it meant that Att would be in a safe place, with people that he knew and would feel safe with. After she'd done her work, she went to go and sit in the ward, where Att and Sage currently were... she was still doing a little bit of work, writing some please for help from neighbouring kingdoms to send their men to fix up the castle... there were already a bunch of people working on it, but the faster the better, really. Still, she wanted to spend some time with Att while she could. She saw the door open and close and a maid handed her a letter in a dark red envelope, and the seal was gold and had a small crown off centre in the middle. From Luther, no doubt. She sighed placed it aside while she finished off her letter.

Sage was laying around in his room for the most part the next few days. Att came in occasionally, and he helped the doctor out sometimes too. Att often wanted to do something, but the boy was really his only source of entertainment. It was rather boring, but he did welcome the boredom....it was a nice change from the whole getting kidnapped and running about after that. And then figuring out what the heck was going on and all that. Of course, he did wonder what had happened to Luther, and the rest of the castle. How many people had been hurt? How many people have died? He didn't know, and while he was worried, he only particularly cared about where Luther was at. He could see him leaving Att...he'd stayed there to care for him. But nothing he could do could change anything, so he pushed the thoughts away, since they only made him more jumpy than he already was.

Anya knocked on the wall of Sages makeshift room before giving him a grin. "Hey," she hummed brightly. Or, she wanted it to be bright. She didn't know if it came across that way or not. She flashed the red letter at him, still sealed up. She didn't want to read it. She didn't want to know what kind of awful person would choose to leave a child alone like that... wheather it was their child or not, it just shouldn't have been happening. Not ever. "Look who got back to us," she huffed with rolled eyes after a moment before breaking the seal with a laugh. "I honest to god don't want to know what reason he had for leaving..." she huffed lightly before unfolding the papers quietly, her eyes scanning over it for a second before for smile quickly faded from her face, and was soon replaced by a rather... sober looking expression. Was what she was reading right? It couldn't be, could it? It didn't seem right. She felt her heart quicken before she bit into the inside of her cheeks, trying to keep her breathing steady. "Luther..." she trailed off, trying to keep her voice from breaking. "He's dead," she whispered, her voice hoarse as she handed him the letter and quickly rushed out the little makeshift room and made her way towards the doctors office... she needed to hear it from him. She needed to know if it was true... and she needed to know why she hadn't been told.

Sage chuckled and looked up from the drawing he'd been working on when Anya came into the room, giving the girl a wave. He shrugged slightly when she huffed out her complaint, letting her read the letter...he could read it after or she'd tell him what was going on. When the girl ran from the room, he looked back and forth between the letter and where she'd run off, and scanned some of the letter before taking off after the girl. He'd gotten the part that mattered...Luther had died. He couldn't really read most of the letter anyway, so it wasn't much use to him. When the teens burst into the room, the doctor looked up and frowned. "What's wrong?"

Anya stared at the doctor for a couple of moments, trying to keep her thoughts at bay... if it wasn't true, if he was fine, then she would have gotten herself all worried about nothing. But something told her to panic... to cry and to scream like a child, that she had to do something. But she couldn't. Not now. Not yet. All she could do was stare at the doctor, and she couldn't help the look of completely and utter anger that washed over her eyes. Disgust, almost. He'd known. He'd known he was dead. And he chose not to tell her. Luther and her had been tied together since birth. Bound to each other. She knew she didn't get along a lot if a time, but she loved him like a brother. And they were meant to spend their lives together. Still, she forced herself not to jump to anger... well, it was already there, but she forced herself to be as calm as she possbibly could towards the old man. "Luther," she rasped, really a little out of breath, and trying to keep herself from shouting and crying at the same time. "What happened to Luther," she breathed, trying to swallow the lump in her throat.
