Sage chuckled and rolled his eyes. "Don't worry, I got him. And Chaos seems to like him so no one's gonna get hurt," he chuckled, even though he knew the girl was being rather serious. Oh well, at least she was protective....Att was in good hands with the girl. He and Att waved as the girl walked away, and then Sage nudged the horse on again and let him wander about as he pleased. Att enjoyed it, and Sage was too. It was nice to be somewhere peaceful for once.

Anya furrowed her brows slightly at the boy before giving him a slight nod. She then forced herself back to the castle. Her first port of call was going to be writing that letter to her parents. They were in a small estate... but it was livable. Very livable. She'd send them a message and ask if she and Att could come and stay... and Sage, if that was what he wanted. She assumed he'd prefer it here, though. Near his home. Once she'd had the letter all sealed up, then took it to one of the maids and asked to have it sent to them... they'd get back to her in a couple of days, or so she hoped. She then wrote a very stubbornly worded letter to Luther's castle... the boy wouldn't get off lightly handed. (I was just thinking, why don't we have Luther's parents get back to Anya, telling her that he died before the doctor was ready to tell them? She could maybe blame Sage for that, because obviously the people that took him thought he was Luther, and they could get in a bit of an argument about it? Then she could take Att off to her parents, which would leave a chance for Sage to get to know the maid? Idk let me know what you think!)

(that might be a good idea, I like that! It would definitely add some drama in there haha) Sage was content to just sit on Chaos and let the horse wander around for quite some time more. Att seemed to like it too, which was why he was so silent...he just sat there happily petting Chaos's neck. After a while, though, Atts stomach started to growl, and Sage suggested they go make something to eat, which the boy happily agreed to. It was past lunch time by then...and even sage was getting hungry.

Once Anya had finished, she called for a maid to come and take this note, too... it definitely wasn't worded very nicely... not at all. Foul language and crude hits and criticism had been through what must have been about a thousand word letter about everything they'd endured and how completely and utterly furious she was at him for leaving little Att... if would have been different if he'd taken the child with him, but he hadn't, and it just made her feel like... what? What did it make her feel like? She didn't know. She couldn't explain it. It was just... anger, and pity for the child, too. Luther had become a father to him, so she really just couldn't believe that he'd just... left. And her parents, too, she was furious at them. She just sat back in the chair, letting the anger and pain about it all just eat her up... well, there was nothing else to do.

Sage got off the horse and then helped Att off, slipping out of the gate and closing it firmly once both he and the younger boy were out of them pen. He patted Chaos goodbye, and held Att up to pat the horses nose before they started walking back to the castle. Att talked about a mile a minute about how fun the horses were, and sage made a mental note to talk to Anya about getting the boy one of his own. They reached the castle then, and they slipped into the kitchen. Att said he wanted sandwiches, so sage agreed to it. "We can bring Anya one too," he hummed, which the lad nodded enthusiasticly to. It didn't take long to make them, and sage wandered along behind Att, with the boy carrying Anyas plate over to her.

Anya sat peacefully for a little while... and it really was peaceful, too. Things had been so... chaotic over the last few weeks, and it was nice to just... stop, even if she was still hurting. The doctor had sent her a hot water bottle to swap into that bruise of hers with a maid, which she was thankful for, because it was starting to hurt the amount of cold she'd been holding onto it. When she saw Att and Sage walking through, she felt a small smile tug at her lips, especially when the child placed a little plate on her desk with the biggest grin on his little face. Anya couldn't help but feel happy when she saw him... he really was her everything now.

Sage walked over once the boy had given Anya her food and handed the boy his own plate. He plopped down onto a chair near the girl and Att hopped into his lap, much to his amusement. He picked at the sandwich while Att started to gobble his down. "Hey, hey, take time and chew," he chuckled, wrapping an arm around the boy in a subconsciously protective manner. Att nodded with a mouth full of food and slowed down a little bit. Sage ate about half of his sandwich before leaving it be, since he still wasn't really that hungry.

Anya watched Att and Sage for a moment or so before picking up the sandwich and starting to munch away on it. Hell... she hadn't realised how hungry she was until now. Her side had been so sore, and there was so much going on in her head that she hadn't even noticed. Once she'd had a half she looked over to Sage and Att and gave a light smile. "You two have a good time?" She asked in the most upbeat tone she possibly could. She just needed to get this done and go back to sleep... she could probably go back to her own room now. The large bruise on her side was definitely still there, and the smaller fingerprint marks on her wrists and hips were too, but none of those things were causing her any pain, and she was a little bit more settled now, anyway.

Sage nodded and Att squealed out something, though his mouth was full of food so he couldn't understand what he'd said. "Chew and swallow first," he gently chided the boy. Att quickly did just that, and then squeaked out "I wanna get a pony," to Anya, bouncing up and down on Sage's lap. Sage yawned and gave Anya a tired but happy grin. "It would be a good idea at some point," he admitted. "But right now, you need a nap," he told Att, leaning over to wrap both arms around the boy and rock him back and forth in a somewhat playfull manner. Att squealed with giggles and then nodded with a yawn, so Sage shooed him off to his bed before letting out a sigh and sinking into the chair. "He has a lot of energy," he groaned, though with a chuckle.

Anya hummed and shook her hair slightly when the boy said he'd wanted a pony... of course, she and Luther had been talking about it, but it'd have to wait until the castle had been rebuilt now. Maybe in a few months. She gave the child a light smile and pecked him on the forehead before wishing him a good night, then he ran off to his room. The girl nodded softly when Sage said the boy had a lot of energy. That, he certainly did. "He does," she hummed lightly. "He needs some friends," she added with a small laugh before shaking her head. "What he doesn't need, though, is you telling him it's a good idea to get him a pony. Now I've actually got to get him one!" She told Sage, though it was with an amused chuckle.
