Sage walked along next to Att, happily chatting with him the way back to the barn. The boy seemed to give him extra energy, and while he was panting by the time they got to the barn, he wasn't as completely exhausted as he was before. He led Att to the room with all the feed and showed him how to measure out the feeds evenly and put it in a bucket. He carried it over to the first stall, which held a rather sweet looking mare, who stick her muzzle over the stall door to sniff them curiously before nickering in anticipation of a long waited meal. Sage helped Att pour the feed into her food bin, and let the boy watch excitedlu as the mare dove into the pellets for a moment before corralling him back to the feed room so they could feed the others.

Anya watched the two boys run around and sort the horse's feed for about an hour... boy then, the unfed horses were kicking at their doors and causing quite the ruckus. She went in to tend to a couple of minor injuries to the more settled horses before going to see Rolo... she couldn't believe she'd forgotten about them. She'd been so focused on herself, Att and Luther that she hadn't thought twice about who was making sure the horses were being tended to. The gelding trotted up to the little gate with a weary-sounding whinny and the smallest nicker to her. She jumped up on the fence and gently started tickling his nose as she waited for Att and Sage... she supposed it would be nice for the two to spend a bit of time together.

Sage showed Att around and helped him feed all the horses in the barn before they drug out a big bin of feed to all the paddocks. Sage wandered over to Anya and set Rolos feed down next to the girl before wandering back over to Att. No doubt she'd missed the horse...she could feed him. He was fine with letting her say hello. Besides, the horses had a way of calming people down, and that would be good for the girl. Chaos met him at the gate, and Sage slipped inside, holding the bucket out to the stallion. He was eager to eat, though not as eager as some of the horses in stalls. He was done relitively quickly though, and was interested in Att, leaning down to snuffle at the boy. Att squealed with laughter and wrapped his arms around the horses muzzle, which was rather amusing. Sage hopped onto the horse and leaned over to scoop Att up, much to the boys delight. He let the stallion wander around, so Att could ride as promised.

Anya let herself get comfortable on the fence, really enjoying the quiet for a little while. She was more than aware that she'd become a little... unhinged. Nothing horrible, but she wasn't particularly nice or patient when she was like that, and really, she felt bad for anyone who had to deal with her in that state. She could be worse, she supposed. She tried a small smile when Sage dropped the bucket down next to her before she hopped off the fence and grabbed the bucket before slipping it through to him. She watched him much away for a moment before looking a few paddocks over, where she expected Att and Sage to be... but she didn't expect them to be sat on the horse. Chaos had calmed down as he got older, but the sight still send a pang of fear for the child through her. Sage had him, though... and she did trust him to look after the child. She wandered over after a second or two and leaned over the fence to watch the two. "Having fun?" She asked with a light smile, albeit a nervous one.

Sage held Att around the middle with one arm, letting him sit on his lap as he sat on the horse, balancing himself with a hand resting on Chaos's shoulder as the stallion wandered about. Sage nudged him in the direction of Anya, and Chaos pricked his ears up and walked over to the girl eagerly, sniffing her cheek before nudging her gently. Sage chuckled and nodded as Att squealed excitedly about riding "such a big cool horsie". He grinned down at the girl, amused by Atts antics. He was glad to have spent some time with both the horse and the boy, but he liked Anya being there, too.

Anya smiled lightly at the child's exitedness to be on the horse... he'd of course sat on a horse before, but he hadn't done very much. Actually, her and Luther had been talking about looking for a pony at some point for the child, so he didn't have to learn on horses that were just to big for him. She kind of got the sense that he'd rather be alone with the boy rather than have Anya just hovering, but in truth, she didn't want to be alone. She was still so nervous about everything, and she didn't want to feel like that. Being with both Att and Sage seemed to help... even if she wasn't talking to them. "He is a cool horse," Anya hummed lightly before looking towards Sage with a thankful look in her eyes. She would have been completely lost as for what to do if he wasn't here... and that was for sure. She'd probably be neck deep in paper work, along with trying to find both Luther and her parents... well, she knew where they were, but she needed to make some sort of contact with them to let them know she was... well, alive.

Sage caught Anyas thankful look, and nodded in return, still grinning widely. He patted Chaos on the neck as the horse nudged Anya again, as if asking for attention. Att reached over to pat the horse on the neck too, and Sage chuckled at the boys obvious love for the horse. Chaos was a good horse ...he had plenty of energy, and he still folicked about, but he was also gentle, and seemingly really good with kids. He was much calmer with Att on his back than with just Sage. It was like he seemed to know Att was a bit more fragile and easily scared than Sage was. "He's amazing," he hummed, agreeing with the boy and Anya both, gazing down at the horse with obvious bright eyed adoration. He couldn't help but love the horse....he'd always liked the animals, and this one was...a lot like him. They got along well. And, well, the fast horses were always more fun than the slow ones.

Anya laughed slightly when the horse started judging her for attention... it was rather sweet, she could admit that, so she went to scratch his upper neck until she found a spot that made the animals nose wiggle. He reached back to try and 'groom' her, but he was really just playing around with her hair at that pont. It was a good thing, because if it wasn't her hair it'd be her skin.. and well, that would hurt like a bitch. Still, it definitely got a smile out of her girl. After a few minutes and scratching his neck and then squishing his nose, she huffed and looked up at Sage with a small smile. "I need to go and get a little bit of work done... would you watch him for me?" She asked the boy with a slightly cocked head.

Sage chuckled when Chaos kept bugging Anya until the girl reached over to scratch his neck. The horse was a lot like him, he knew that, though the horse obviously had less self control and could bug Anya for attention all he wanted to. He nodded and waved Anya on when she asked him if he could watch the boy. "I got him, don't you worry. Go do your princessy stuff," he hummed. Att nodded and gave Anya a thumbs up and big grin. "Well take care of the horses," he chirped.

Anya nodded slightly and gave a light smile to Sage, though it was almost a teasing one. "If he falls off that horse, you're gonna wish you died in that cell," she warned, a sweet looking smile on her face, although her words weren't exactly friendly. She then shook her head and went off to the castle again... maybe the doctor would know where Luther is. Hopefully that would be the case. She hoped so... she needed to yell at him for leaving the kid alone. She didn't know why he did it, but she was definitely angry about it. And her parents, too.
