She hesitated "fine. Hopefully pregnant"

Nate nodded. "Are you sure? No pain?"

She hesitated, the movement obvious, but nodded

"Dakota..."

"you enjoyed it and I really want another baby" she rushed out

"Dakota..." he sighed, now frustrated. He sat up, swinging his legs over the edge of the bed, holding his head in his hands.

"are you...upset?"

"Yes, I'm fucking upset!" he snapped, catching himself before he did again. He paused, standing to face her. "What we just did... what I thought it was about was being together, loving each other, and enjoying something together, after we both just got through probably the hardest thing we've had to deal with. But apparently, I was wrong, and it was just about getting you pregnant and making me 'happy'. And I can't live with myself if I ever hurt you, and I did, and now you're lying to me. If that is going to happen, and it's just for personal gain and not about us, and then you lie to me about your well-being when I'm trying to help. If that is going to happen, we shouldn't be doing it anymore," he grumbled, extremely frustrated and irritated. He finished, walking into the bathroom, shutting the door, and getting in the shower.

She watched with a hurt expression, letting him go before curling into a ball and silently crying. She had been wrong again, she hasn't enjoyed it when she should have just focused on them

Nate got in the shower, letting the hot water run over his body as he calmed himself down. Eventually he got out, dried off and got dressed. He heard her crying and felt guilty. He sighed, laying back down with her. "Come here," he murmured softly and gently. He was still upset with her, but he still loved her.
