Sage, admittedly, did seem to gain a bit more energy when he saw the guards standing along the parts of the castle that had been hurt in what he could assume to be the fight. "It's still here," he rasped, thankful that there was something here for them to go to. He glanced over at Anya and huffed out a breath. "Let's go see the rest of it," he wheezed. "I don't know how much longer I can keep this up," he told the girl, trying for a chuckle but it came out as more of a wheeze. Oh well. He couldn't rest until he knew everything about the castle and what had happened.

Anya bit the inside of her lip when the boy started talking... she was, admittedly worried about the state of the place. There seemed to be rubble everywhere, and the guards seemed so... antsy. She glanced at him and tried a weary smile in return to his attempt at a chuckle, but it didn't come out as much... if anything, her little smile was more scary than comforting. She wanted to go into her home... or what was left of it, but something was almost pulling her back, and it wasn't an amazing feeling. She wanted to help Sage out, but she couldn't... not if she tried. She was just so... worried. The state the castle was in from here didn't look great, so she didn't have a clue what it'd look like. The two were let into the estate by the guards after she'd given a brief explanation as to what'd gone about... she'd been told the doctor was still here, though the queen and king had gone off to a smaller getaway manor while the castle was being repaired. The fact that they hadn't mentioned Att or Luther sent panic running through her... but she supposed they would have either gone off to Luther's home or in the ward... they would be safe, or that was what she was telling herself. She turned to Sage once they'd gotten through the doors... it looked clean... there were maids rushing around, so she supposed they were hard at work to make things stay neat and tidy while the castle was pretty much falling apart. "Doctors, go," she told him after a slight moment of silence.

Sage was relieved that the castle was still standing, and even more relieve when the inside of the castle was better than what the outside looked like. He did worry about Att and Luther, and looked around expectantly for them. Though, they were probably somewhere else. He glanced over at Anya and gave her a doubtful look. "You need to go too," he told the girl. "You can't do anything if you're not healthy," he hummed, trying to reason with the girl a bit. But, he did turn towards the doctor's office, leaning on the wall for balance. (I was thinking...what if there's a maid assigned to help the doctor and her and Sage gets into a relationship? Unless you want him and Anya to fall back in love, that might be interesting if you'd be up for playing another chapracter. Lmk!)

(Ooh, I think that'd be fun. I don't particularly care, but if we were wanting Anya and Sage to get back together then maybe having another person in between that could be interesting.) Anya shook her head slightly and furrowed her brows at the boy. "I can stand on my own two legs. And I'm not struggling to breathe. I'll go see him later... I want to make sure everything here is all in order," she murmured quietly before shooing him off. She then turned and made a line straight towards Att's room... she wanted to make sure that all of all places had been cleaned up... so imagine the look on her face when she found blood splattered up the walls. It seemed to have pooled into the carpet, too... her heart dropped at the sight and quickly turned and half walked and half ran towards the doctor's ward. On the way in, she asked one of the maids to make sure it was cleaned up... she hadn't meant to sound rude, but she was worried and in pain and she couldn't help but be a little snappy. She should have listened to Sage... the doctors first and gotten some rest... but she needed to know everyone was okay. Now that she thought about it, it would have been easier to just ask the doctor about that.

(we could do that! Sage is going to have to chose and Anyas gonna have to figure out if she loves him or not) Sage sighed and turned, knowing it was useless to argue with the girl about this. Besides, he didn't really have the energy to either way. So, he sort of just staggered down the hallways and crept into the doctor's ward. The doctor rounded the corner and nearly ran into him, than dropped what he was holding to grab him in a large hug. Sage yelped, since he was squeezing him rather hard, though he leaned into the man gratefully. The old man shoved him over to the bed that he was used too. He felt a sense of giddy happiness that the man had kept his room the same the way it was. Soon enough, the doctor was working on him, working on taking off bandages and figuring out what was wrong.

The girl pretty much burst into the ward after looking into all of the rooms... her eyes pretty much b-lined towards little Att... who was awake and playing, though she could see a large red cut down his forearm. It looked like it'd been stitched up... and although the child seemed alright, she still felt a slight lump in her throat. She couldn't see Luther... had he left the child and gone home? He wouldn't do that, would he? He wouldn't just pick up and go home, leaving the boy after what had undoubtedly been a scary experience for him. Those thoughts left her as soon she heard the boy's happiness as he called her name. Her eyes darted back towards him and she forced herself to swallow the lump in her throat and smiled at the boy the best she could before giving a soft sigh and wandering over and grabbing a seat next to the boy. "Hey baby," she hummed lightly, poking his stomach in a playful manner, which really just made the boy squeal with laughter. The child then started telling her off for going away, and she felt the lump come back... it was such an awful feeling. They'd been taken, and yet she felt overwhelming guilt for leaving him. The girl eventually just apologised in the most upbeat tone she could manage before asking him what he'd done to his arm... the child simply answered with a shrug and told her that he wasn't overly sure. That worried her... she needed to talk to the doctor about all of this, just as soon as he'd seen to Sage.

The doctor wasn't as gentle as Anya, but he supposed he couldn't allow to be as gentle as Anya sometimes. After all, cleaning out wounds like the ones on his wrists wasn't the easiest thing in the world, and of course they had to be cleaned well. It still hurt, though ..although peeling the bandages off hurt worse...scabs had stuck to the fabric, which meant taking those off tool any scabs along with it. They soaked the rags first, and it went better than it might have, but still wasn't particularly pleasant. After that, he was pretty much just sitting there, head spinning, as the doctor cleaned and bandaged his other wounds. At some point, he had finished and when Sage asked about Att and Luther, the doctor turned and walked away. He followed, of course, and saw Att and Anya sitting there. His face lit up at the sight of the boy, and the doctor whispered something in his ear, which he nodded in response to, walking wobbly over to Anya and Att. "The doctor says to have you go to his office and get help," he chuckled. "I can stay with Att," he offered. He was tired, but he'd missed the boy and had been worried ...he could stand to watch him for a bit.

Anya smiled softly when the Sage appeared, though, there was something that just seemed a bit... shattered. And she supposed she was. She was so tired. And all she wanted to do was sit there with Att... be her child, especially after something so... scary, even if the boy didn't remember it all. She frowned when he said the doctor wanted her in his office and sighed before carefully standing up. "You're all good?" she asked quietly, really quite reluctant to go at all. All the doctor would do was poultus the wound... and she could do that herself. She did need to talk to him, though. After a moment she groaned wearily before forcing herself towards the doctor's office and gently knocking on the door. "Sage said you wanted me?" She asked with a huff.

Sage nodded and sat down on the bed with Att. "I'll be fine. Now go," he huffed, though rather good naturedly. The doctor looked up when Anya came in and grunted, looking over at the girl and standing up, gesturing for her to follow. He pointed to the bed telling the girl to sit down. "Tell me, in detail, what happened to you and the boy," he hummed, starting to examine the girl as she sat there.

Anya wrinkled her nose slightly as she dropped down, kind of shaking her head at the question. She actually had to think about that for a moment. What the hell had happened? She had to run through everything in her head before rolling her eyes at the whole thing. "We were taken just after the attacks started," she murmured, biting the inside of her lip for a moment. "I think Sage tried to fight them. I don't know if he got hurt then," she murmured, knowing the doctor was close to the boy... he'd probably want to know everything that happened to him. "We were hooded and taken to a village up north. We were fed and watered... we were tied to a wall, though. Just about able to lie down. I think they thought Sage was Luther... so it wasn't as bad as it could have been for either of us. They didn't want to kill us, just... I don't know." she murmured quietly before shaking her head.
