Regan stropped off to her little shed of a room, of which she shared with Lily... and, admittedly, she was dreading staying with her now. She really hated that Tyler had decided to allow his father in... that he wanted him here. She knew that he was his dad, and that he cared for him and ra ra ra, but he'd really hurt Tyler... and she could see that on his face. She didn't trust that he wouldn't try again. She groaned and covered her face, flopping back on the bed with a sigh. They just got somewhere safe... and then they'd welcomed someone in that might ruin that.

Tyler glanced around again. He didn't see Regan, so he assumed she was in the shack thingy. Tyler walked over, knocking quietly. "Regan... you in there?" He asked, casting glances at his father. So far Aaron didn't seem to be making any trouble... but if he made this hard for Regan or Tyler... Tyler would kick his butt out of here.

Regan sat for a little while before sighing. She was glad to have people, but Lily was kind of horrible to her for some reason, and she really didn't trust Tylers dad. She cocked her head at him a little bit when she heard his voice. "Yeah... I'm here. Come in," she called to him, still flopped back on the bed... her back hurt and so did her head... it wasn't nice at all.

Tyler ducked inside the stall cabin, looking at Regan. "...that bad?" He asked slowly, running a hand through his hair. "I'm sorry if you are upset about bringing my dad in.. we can kick him back out if you want." Tyler said quietly, shifting. He noticed Regan looked sore. "Are you.. okay?" He asked, raising an eyebrow with a small frown

Regan shook her head at him before shrugging. "No, no, he's your dad. I just don't want you getting hurt or anything... I can see how scared of him you are, Tyler," she whispered quietly. "You don't deserve to be scared," she then added quietly. She then glanced over to him when he asked is she was alright. "I'm fine, promise," she whispered gently.

Tyler sighed, shuddering slightly. "I'm hoping and praying he's changed." Tyler said quietly, glancing outside again. "My old dad would have held a knife to my throat and demanded I helped him, and if the guy said he couldn't come in because there wasn't enough room, my old dad would have attempted to kick me out. He hasn't done that yet." Tyler muttered, his eyes narrowing slightly. He glanced at Regan. "I'm glad you are okay.."

Regan nodded to him... she hoped for his sake that the man had changed too. She didn't want him to be upset or anything if it went wrong. "He gets one chance, Tyler, one. He does anything wrong and I'll kill him myself," she eventually growled. She did mean it, she really did. She then let out a breath and patted the side of his bed to come and sit with her. "How was your walk? You and her getting along?" She knew the chances of him getting on with Lily were... slim, but it was polite to ask.

Tyler laughed drily. "You don't worry about that... I'll have already gotten to him." He clenched his jaw. He glanced over at the bed and went to sit down, sighing. "Well... I promise, I tried. I listened to her ramble on about ME for an hour, I answered her questions... but she is so..." he trailed off, not knowing what words to use.

Regan nodded in amusement before shaking her head. "First come, first serve, I suppose," she mused lightly. She raised a brow after a moment or two before shrugging. "She's interested in you, is all," she hummed gently. She didn't particularly like her... but she wasn't the type to be horrible and talk behind people's back. "She's... vibrant," she told him after a few moments. She hadn't been too nice to Regan, but Tyler didn't need to know that.

Tyler snorted. "Let's refrain from talking about her right now. We can have a totally peaceful conversation about gutting my dad, or something else, but let's not talk about her." He rolled his eyes, staring up at the ceiling (sorry it's short, I'm trying to think up inspiration... and failing) Edited at April 20, 2023 03:03 PM by Wild Warmbloods
