Quinn was worried. She heard people filing in, and at the moment she hated her mother more than she ever had in her lifetime. Quinn's mind wandered to what would happen at the end... the kiss. She shuddered. She knew that if she loved Sage, she wished that their first kiss could be real, not just to please some idiots so they could run away again. Quinn took a deep breath. Every thing was quiet. She heard the door unlock, mane she put a rogue stand of hair behind her ear before the door opened and a guard showed her to where she would walk up the aisle. Quinn started, her jaw tense and her head hanging down. There were still faint blood stains around her neck. As she slowed her walk slightly her neck got squeezed. Quinn tried not to show she couldn't breath, but immediately quickened her pace and kept her chin up. If you looked closely there were small drips of blood forming near the necklace. Quinn stopped up on the thing, in front of Sage with her back facing away from her mother. Thankfully. The person started reading a bunch of things and Quinn kept her gaze downcast. When it came her turn to speak she did, then the moment came where the minister/pope/priest (whatever you want to call it) said, "You may now kiss the bride."

Sage could smell the blood on the girl as soon as she came out of...wherever they'd kept her before she had to walk down the isle. He was a bit worried, and they both looked awful, probably. Well, not to the people....they wouldn't know. His nose twitched slightly at the bitter scent of blood, and his gaze fell on the stains from the necklace around her neck. He felt his own collar sent a warning shock down his body and he inhaled sharply, paling a bit more but trying to act like nothing was wrong. He was dimly aware of talking...the whole wedding was just in the background, his thoughts swirling and his words said in a monotone. When he was instructed to kiss the bride, he gave the girl an apologetic look before pressing his lips to hers lightly, only hovering there for a moment before stepping back and lowering his eyes again. They were quickly rushed into another room, with a simple closet and bed with some blankets, and another small cot in a structure that looked suspiciously like a cage to him.

Quinn backed up as soon as it was over, stumbling in a haze and getting shoved into the room. "Did.. did they just lock us in this room together?" Quinn muttered, her eyes angry. She didn't have preferred clothes or any way to wash off the blood... or get the collar thingy off. Quinn, being a smart one, had wore her black pants and a black t shirt under the dress just in case. After she had th dress off and felt better, she tried tearing at the thing around her neck. It was no use. Every time she touched down it it just got tighter and tighter. As Quinn tried one more time, the door opened and her mom stepped in. "Quinn stop trying to get my torture device off. You'll choke. Anyway, that would be better for me." Victoria sneered. Her hands were stained with Quinn's blood she hadn't bothered to wash off. She ripped the collar off Quinn, leaving an ugly wound that most likely needed treating. Quinn died not to but she whimpered in pain as it got ripped off, gently touching the what would be a scar. Her mother grinned. "Make yourselves comfortable, happily married couple." She snorted, leaving and locking the door. Quinn collapsed onto the floor, not being able to hold back the tears. It was just horrible...

Sage was speechless as they got shoved into the room together, shaking his head slightly in response to Quinn's comment. They were locked in here...no food or water, and no windows or anything either. He jumped when her mother came in, clearly shocked at how she treated her daughter. "I thought I smelled blood," he growled at the door before heasitantly sitting down next to Quinn, wrapping his arms around her in what he hoped would be a comforting way. He needed some comfort too, but he wanted to help her too. After a while, he heard the door open again, and shrunk back as his father entered the room. "Why aren't you in there," he grumbled, pointing at the small cage like area in the corner of the room. Sage just bit his lip and shook his head beginning to tremble. His father snorted and reached into his pocket, pressing the button and shocking Sage. This one was worse than before...it tore a scream from his lips and he fell over, eye rolling up in his head as he convulsed on the floor for a moment. When it stopped the pain lingered, his breathing rasping as he panted on the floor. His father grabbed him by the arms, dragging him to the area and throwing him into it. He landed with a grunt, the air knocked out of him and more pain shooting through his body. "Stay, dog," he spat, before stomping out and leaving them in there alone. Sage knew he couldn't even leave the cage, or his father would shock him again, and he was much to terrified of the man to go against him. He closed his eyes and just curled up on the hard concrete floor, willing himself to just go to sleep, though of course it didn't work.

Quinn gasped in shock at what the father did, flying up and almost punching him in the back. The door closed before she got there, but anger flared through her mind. Quinn knew it was hopeless, but she was angry anyway. She ripped the blankets off the bed and put them in the 'cage' sitting beside Sage. She wasn't speechless... no idea what to say

Sage lifted his head in surprise when he felt the blankets move into the gaze, and watched the girl come in before dropping his head again. He closed his eyes again, too...but while he'd had them open his gaze was blank. Like it was dead. He just didn't have any fight left in him, not after that. He figured he'd just starve in here...his father would probably leave him here, and he wasn't sure he cared all that much. He had a feeling his father would try to have him killed, so he'd have to pay less money...and he had to admit, that did sound better than starving.

Quinn took a breath. "I ... might have a way to get out.." she murmured. This would hurt... terribly bad.. but she had to do it. Quinn closed her eyes, scanning the area for animals. When she found a bird with a long, thin beak she called it over. The pain was excruciating... broadcasting such long signals hurt terribly. Once the bird was outside the door, she instructed it how to pick the lock.. from the outside. There was no way to get out on this side, but on the outside it was a lock and key. Trying to tell the bird what to do through the metal was like trying to get a porcupine to stab you a billion times.. it the head. She grit her teeth and kept trying. "Come on, put the pin up there align them.. you have it, turn!" She thought, hearing a click. She said thank you super fast so she could stop. Her head was ringing, she couldn't hear anything, her vision was blurry, and she was in the worst pain she had almost ever been in in her life... but the door was unlocked. Quinn grabbed the handle from this side, pulling it open and peeking out. "Come on Sage" she growled, taking his arm and darting out into the courtyard where she hid in the shadows and slowly mad enough her way to the Stables.

Sage opened an eye to peek at the girl and then closed it again, deciding he didn't really care what she was doing. A way out? No, if his father saw or found out, he would be furious. And sage knew well enough what that meant. But, he didn't have the strength left to argue with her, or fight against her as she dragged him down to the barns. He was terrified his father would find out....and he didn't know what range the collar worked at. Because no doubt his father could shock him again, harder, or even hard enough to kill him if he really wanted to. By they time they got to the barns though, he was panting and could barely breathe. "Stop," he pleaded with Quinn, staggering and then sitting down hard, keeling over on his hands and knees, watching both sweat and blood drip onto the floor. "Gimme a second," he gasped, just not able to go any further. They had to get away, he knew that, but if he passed out on Quinn, he wasn't sure she'd be able to carry him, and he doubted she'd leave him here alone.

Quinn let go, letting him regain his breath while she tacked up the horses, throwing in a special bag of supplies she had hid in the Stable. After she was done she turned to Sage. "You are getting on this horse. Now." She said quietly, waiting.

Sage sort of huffed and puffed for a moment while she yacked the horses up. He squinted up at her and sat back when she instructed him to get on Chaos, and groaned before holding his hands out for her to help him up. They were on the horses in a bit of time, and running...somewhere.
