"Zion came in saying he was scared and now I can't fall back asleep." Dakota sighed. It was 1 in the morning and Dakota couldn't go to bed. She smiled at Jacob. "You can go back to bed. You probably need it. Love you." Dakota said. She layed down and looked out the window. The horses were all put in their stalls for the night. Athena whinned. She could tell when Dakota was awake.
Jacob said " oh honey I don't need it as much as you do " he kissed her back of her head and smiles then said " I love you with all my heart soul everything you bring everything to me"
Dakota turned and faced Jacob. "I love you too." She kissed him back and cuddled closer to him. Dakota put her arms around his neck and looked into his eyes. She smiled. Jacob meant the world to her. She would never leave him.
"Yeah. Zion really looks up to you! I can tell he wants to be a lot like his dad!" Dakota laughed. "And Arden on the other hand, is a mix of both of us. She has been talking non-stop about cows lately. Have you been conviceing her to get one?" Dakota giggled and smiled. She loved these moments. Just her and Jacob.
"How? Are you going to get one?" Dakota smirked. She knew he loved cows. "So, when is your first police thingy?" Dakota asked. "I... Decided to pull out of the olympics to stay here while you work." Dakota looked away. Tears welled up in her eyes. This was her dream. To compete in the olympics. But, she failed.

Jacob said "honey no I have like 5 or 6 months for the cop course which I can do at home" Jacob didn't want that to happen then said " grandma has cows"
"Well, the olympics is next year. I have to take this year to train." Dakota said. Her mom loved competing. Ever since Dakota was a little girl, she promised her mom that she would go to the olympics. After her parents died, Dakota thought her life wouldn't get any worse. She was going to win gold for her mom. But, now she didnt think that would happen. She sighed and looked at Jacob. "It's okay. I don't have to go."
