He was silent for a while before sighing and sitting back up, squeezing her hand gently. "Don't worry. Well do our best." Hopefully it would be enough.

Celeste nodded. "I know, love,"

Sage decided he couldn't just sit around and worry, so he moved to get up with a sigh. "You hungry," he asked. He wasn't especially hungry, but he hadn't eaten yet, and he knew he should at least try something.

Celeste nodded, "Yeah, we should eat something,"

Sage sort of rummaged through the fridge with a nod, eventually just grabbing some meat for the two of them and heating it up.

Celeste waited patiently. She'd offer to help, but it was a fairly simple job.

Sage handed her a plate once the meat was warmed up, and a glass of water, before getting his own food and drink and sitting down next to her

Celeste ate silently with him.

Sage sort of just picked at his food, but forced himself to eat at least half of what he'd made. He just didn't have an appetite at all.
