Sage chuckled and shook his head when the girl kept talking. "I think we'd both wind up with our heads exploding and then you'd have to do all the dirty work," he crowed, nudging the girl as she stood up and joined him. He looked around and ordered something he thought the girl might like before ordering for himself. Once he hit the food, he wandered over to the table the girl had picked out and set the food down, scooting into the part of the booth that was next to her. There was no sign that they'd been followed or that anyone suspected them, so they could poke around for a bit, he supposed.

Anya gave a grin when the boy settled down next to her, but not before tucking herself up under the blanket again. "Thank you!" she cooed before tucking into the food he'd gotten her... she was hungry, hungrier than she realized. Perhaps she'd just been too weary to really notice it. "Can I give you some cash? You can go get food and I'll find some water bottles... I don't want to take too long browsing around." She murmured quietly before resting her head on her hand. "I want to get back to Att... I wonder what he's doing right now," she hummed gently.

Sage started eating right away, and just nodded in response to Anyas question. "I wonder if I could manage to hunt while we walk," he murmured. Then he wrinkled his nose slightly. "Although, we can't make a fire, so I guess that wouldn't work very well," he admitted. He sighed slightly and nodded, playing with the fork in his hand. "Luther too," he murmured. "I hope they're alright."

Anya wrinkled her nose slightly when he mentioned Luther... of course, she hoped he was alright too, but she couldn't help but dread going back to him. He was lovely, really, but the boy was a lot to deal with. She didn't want to go back and have to explain everything that'd happened to them... he'd just end up fussing, which was something she really didn't want. Or need. "You'll get yourself hurt again if you try and hunt. We'll get some food here and try and find another place to stop before tonight, if not we can stop in the woods somewhere and then try and get a rabbit or something.

Sage sighed and nodded when Anya commented on hunting, and she did have a good point. "I'm not too worried about having enough food, but we do need to figure out how far away from the castle we are," he mused. He thought for a moment and an idea popped into his head. "We could probably get a map of the town, and maybe areas around it ..that way well know how far we are and it would make the whole traveller thing more believable."

Anya nodded slightly once she'd finished her food, "That's a good idea..." she hummed and gave a smile. "We're gonna look like such tourists... imagine how annoying we'd seem to the locals," she hummed with a chuckle. "But at least that'll take any suspicion away from us," she reasoned before giving a slight huff. "Let's go grab our things and check the room out. Then we can go, I guess," she murmured softly before standing up and going to grab the clothes from their rooms.

Sage grunted and nodded in response to Anya. "We can look for things as we walk," he mused, following the girl back to their room to grab the outfit he'd dumped on the ground the night before. He found a small bag in the closet and dumped his clothes in there before handing it to the girl for her to put her clothes in. "Thisll be good to hold food and things in," he hummed. "Dunno what it's for but we can use it I suppose. Well just have to be careful not to let people see our old clothes, just in case."

"Just cover them all up with snacks." She hummed before giving him a small chuckle. "Let's go," the girl chirped before grabbing the bag and hooking it over her arms. She dropped the blanket off and pulled him along until they stood just outside the tavern. She handed him half a bag of cash and gave him a small smile. "Grab some food... doesn't have to be nice, just filling," she hummed before turning off to grab some flasks for the two of them, then filled them with water before wandering back to find Sage again.

Sage grunted in agreement and was about to offer to carry the bad when Anya grabbed him and pulled him along the way. Well, maybe that was better for his back anyway..carrying something over rather open wounds couldn't be good for him, even if the bag was light (ish). He nodded and bounced along, pretending to be shopping for a family or something and grabbing some nuts and berries, and jerky that would be filling. None of it would go bad...the berries were dried, so they didn't have to be kept cool either. He headed back to the tavern then, and skidded to a stop next to Anya with an armful of goodies, along with some of the money that was left over. He hadn't spent very much, and he'd stolen the jerky, since it was more expensive than what he liked, but Anya didn't need to know that. He dumped the food into the bag and gave the girl a wide grin. "Well be set for a few days worth of just eating this stuff," he chirped. "I also figured out we're up north...we have to move south east to get back to your home." He'd stolen a map, too, which he held up for the girl to see. It was on leather, so it would last even if it got wet or muddy.

Anya grabbed two leather flasks for each of them, both having a leather strap attached so that they could put them over their shoulders. She sat and waited for Sage for roughly ten minutes before he skidded next to her with a grin on his face. "These look good!" She chirped brightly as he put the food in the bag. Not that it mattered, but she rather liked everything he'd picked up anyway, so she was definitely happy enough. She stood up and placed the flask over his shoulder and gave a smile. "Looking smart," she hummed lightly before looking at the map. "So we just got further away?" she asked with a bit of a frown.
