Kayla woke the next morning in pain but getting up anyways. She went hunting, getting a fox and cooking it for her and Gale

Gale awoke to her leaving, hesitating before his arm slid off her waist.
| |

Kayla walked in with some food for Gale, sitting beside him and rubbing his back.
| |

Gale's body stiffened at the pressure suddenly on his back, his hand shooting out and grabbing her wrist with and iron grip. "Don't, you don't need to sew anything again." He slurred, voice heavy with sleep as he though she was a healer.

"Ow, Gale, babe, plaes let go. I brought you food" She winced
| |

His grip immediately released, sitting up with a look of regret on his face. "I'm sorry, thought you were another healer or something."
| |

"It's fine" She lied, handing him the food. "Here. Fox." She explained quietly
| |

"Thank you," He murmured, kissing her temple before he ate.
| |

She nodded, looking at his back and chewing her lip in concern
| |

"Is it still bad?" He asks, curious.
