Sage heard her voice somewhere in his brain, but of course he didn't really respond. He was still asleep ..it was a light sleep, but a sleep none the less. He had figured he'd sleep longer than the girl would, but he'd have to get up at some point soon. But, a good sleep would do him well. His wrists felt much better wrapped, and the many cuts and bruises he had were beginning to heal. The whip marks on his back still hurts, but he could deal with those. After all, it hadnt been the first time he'd beens whipped by someone. This time wasn't even so bad. But he was tired, and so he was sleeping in. He'd wake himself up soon, but for now...he wanted to stay in bed. It was warm and cozy anyway....which was nice after being cold for days on end.

The girl sighed softly when the boy didn't respond to her, and just kind of wrapped an arm around his side and forced herself back to sleep. She needed to keep herself asleep. They might not get another chance to rest somewhere so civil in a while, so she figured she might as well sleep for as long as she could. Though, she was antsy to get going. The longer they stayed there, the closer they were to getting caught... and that thought definitely scared the hell out of her.

Sage slept for another hour or so before he woke up and shifted slightly in a kind of sleepy stretch before settling down again with a huff of air. He noted the fact that Anya was still wrapped around him, and he patted the girls hand gently, to see if she was awake or not. If she wasn't, he could stay in bed, or he could try to go get food and bring it up for the girl. If she was, they could go get food in a bit, once they'd woken up a bit more.

Anya hummed softly when the boy patted her hand, but kind of just cuddled in more... she was barely aware of him, but she was still only just waking up. After a couple of moments, she shifted again to stretch before giving a gentle huff and burying her head into the back his neck with another soft groan when as she became a little more aware of her surroundings. "What time is it?" she whispered softly before closing her eyes again.

Sage chuckled slightly when the girl hummed. She was quite obviously still half asleep, so he let her be. He could wait a bit before going to get food, he wasn't all the hungry. He chuckled again when she buried her face in his back and glanced over at the clock. "Little after ten," he hummed. "We can lay around for a bit before we get breakfast."

She groaned in complaint when he told her it was ten... god, had they really slept in that long? It hadn't been all that late when they'd gotten to bed the night before. "We should be up by now," she told him quietly, though just curled up even more under the blankets ad though she was contradicting her words. "Do you feel any better," she asked him softly as she got comfortable again, really just enjoying the calm of the moring.

Sage yawned and shrugged in response to the girl comment that they should be up."I don't think a few extra hours of sleep will do us any harm," he hummed, before wriggling around to face the girl, making sure to stay under the nice warm covers and nodded. "I feel a lot better. Some food and a good night's sleep probably helped quite a bit," he admitted. "So did washing off my wrists in clean water and wrapping them up," he chuckled. Wrapping them up dulled the pain a bit, since it kept the cold air off of the open wound as much. Plus, there was no dirt or grime to sting the wound as much, which was, admittedly, nice to know.

Anya rolled her eyes slightly when he said wrapping his wrists up had helped. "Yeah, I'd expect keeping them clean might help," she chuckled as she watched him roll over, although she shuffled away a little and uncurled her arms away from his side. "I'm glad you're feeling better," she told him with a gentle smile. "A good night's sleep would've been good for the both of us... I'm not sure when the last time I got a full night of rest was," she added with a light chuckle. Any sleep she'd gotten was after she'd been dragged out of the cell and dumped back in whenever she'd passed out. So the sleep she'd gotten now was welcomed warmly.

Sage chuckled at the girl's teasing and nodded, scooting back a bit as well. He didn't want toake things awkward. He hadn't minded cuddling up to Anya, but it was still a bit of a romantic thing to sleep together, so once they were awake he knew it was good to not cuddle up so much. He knew friends might cuddle a bit, and they only slept together because they only had one bed, but still. "A good night's sleep would help anyone," he noted with amusement. Then he glanced back at the clock and sighed. "We can get breakfast soon, then head out again. We should get water bottles and some non perishable snacks though....I don't know how far away the next town is," he hummed.

Anya smiled softly and gave a bunny-like yawn before shaking her head. "Breakfast sounds good," she murmured as though she was still half asleep. She was waking up... really, she was, but she was still a little reluctant to do it, despite being keen to get back home. "We need to ask about where we are... if we're even in the same kingdom," she murmured quietly before sitting up slightly. "I have enough money to get a bunch of food. And some bottles, as you say," she chirped lightly as she leaned back against the headboard and gently fiddled with his hair in a tickling manner.
