Kai nodded with a sniffle, "okay... I love you too," he whispered, sneaking one more kiss to her cheek before watching her go. He waved goodbye until she was out of sight. He sighed and got back into his car, taking him back to the palace.

Camery settle down in the car, her eyes looking wide out the window as they eventually made their way to the castle.. The place looked... awful. It looked nothing like how she'd remembered it, not at all. She crawled out of the car, the driver pulling the bags out as she slowly wandered into the castle, admittedly very on edge.

Kai made his way back to the palace, and went right up to his room. He curled up in bed, hoping to get some sleep, but no. He curled up, hugging his pillow as if it were her and cried.

Camery was rushed around by some very... nervous looking maids. She had her bags taken to her old room, which was still a mess from when she'd been locked in there last time she was here. Her hairs stood on end, and she just furrowed her brows as she was shown to her fathers office. She swallowed hard, her hand resting softly on her stomach as she poked her head in. "Dad?" She asked nervously. The man whipped her his head around, and he looked... old. Tired, too, and his eyes were wide like he hadn't slept in days. He jumped up from his seat and stalked over to her, and all Cam could do was step back. She'd explained to him she didn't want to be near him... and she let him know that she'd gone through with the wedding, and that his wife was safe in the night kingdom. She'd let him know that Malakai was fine too, after what he'd done. The man did look sorry - but she couldn't just forgive him for all of this.

Kai kept crying, clinging to the pillow. Alora slid in the room, knowing Kai would likely be a wreck while Camery was away. Alora shut the door behind her and went over to Kai laying down next to him and quietly comforted her. She knew Kai better than anyone, with the exception of Cam.

Camery talked with the man for a little while. He looked so... lost. She understood it - he'd lost his whole family, really. He'd lost his wife and daughter, people he'd once looked upon with so much love and respect. He'd lost their respect, but she knew better than anyone they'd never stop loving him, no matter what he'd done. At least, they'd never stop loving the man that had cared so much about... everyone, really. She decided that night wasn't the time to tell him about the pregnancy, though. She'd tell him... tomorrow, maybe the day after right before she left. She did want him to know his grandchild, but she wanted her child to know her father, not the man that had hurt her husband and mother. She soon returned to her room, which had been cleared up while she was away, settling down for the night and eventually drifting off to sleep.

Alora stayed with Kai through the night. She'd comforted him through his crying, eventually getting him to calm down. Kai didn't sleep though, he couldn't sleep without Cam. Alora fell asleep, but stayed there with Kai, just to make sure he wasn't going to do anything stupid.

Cam woke up later the next morning, her old maid bringing her breakfast the same way she always had. She felt her brows pinch together as she thought about it all. Hell, when she went to leave her room Jack was stood outside her door the same way he used to. She went about her day nearly as normal, only she want to her father to to try and help him make a start to fixing all of... this. Everything he'd ruined. The next day or two went fairly quickly, her soul purpose being to make sure her kingdom was getting back on track. The last day, though, she decided to tell the man about the baby... and thankfully, he seemed overjoyed with the whole thing. She'd made it clear he wasn't welcome in the Night Kingdom, but she'd take the baby to see him at... some point.

Kais days were rough... really rough. No sleep, no food. Alora stayed by his side, just trying to make sure he was okay.

Camery left a little later that eventing, only really getting back to the Night Kingdom early the next morning. She came in quietly, draggin her bags up the stairs to the room, and poked her head in the door, only to find Alora right by Malakai's side. Her eyes widened, and sort of put her bags to the side before wandering over worridly. "Malakai?" She whispered softly.
