Luca nodded. "Alright," he agreed, scooping her up and carrying her back out to the car.

Laurel gasped softly when he picked her up to carry her out, but after a moment she settled again and soaked up every last bit of his warmth and comfort.

Luca set her down on her side of his car so she could get in before getting in himself. He smiled over at her as they began to drive, "Whats your favorite fast food?"

Laurel thanked him and got in. She hummed for a second before answering. "Anywhere with good mozzarella sticks and I'll be happy," she told him, her stomach growling at the thought.

Luca nodded, pulling into a drive thru. He ordered her mozzarella sticks and nothing for himself. "Drink?" he offered.

"Sweet tea, please," she answered with a smile. Every little thing he did made her fall harder and harder for him.

Luca nodded and ordered her a sweet tea. He pulled up to the window, paid and got her food, handing it to her as he drove them back to HQ.

He parked in the back lot and walked with her inside, going up to the pent house.

Laurel thanked him amd quietly (and carefully to avoid a mess) snacked on her food as they went back to HQ. She was done when they reached the lot and she made sure to grab all of her trash as they got out and headed up to the penthouse. She was so thankful for Luca, as without him, she probably would have still been at the hospital or in her bed sobbing uncontrollably out of fear for what might come.

Luca smiled while they entered the penthouse. He hadn't smiled this much in a long, long time, but since he'd met her, he was nothing but smiles. "Its coming close up on 9, so I'm gonna go take a shower, you can do whatever you like," he smiled at her before trailing towards the bathroom.
