(not much else to put lol) Elara slept peacefully.

(yeah, not much until morning lol) Sage also slept peacefully, but was up with the sun in an attempt to start getting their new home fixed up best he could. He wanted the cabin fixed as quickly as possible.

Elara awoke early, slipping out of the cabin silently, besides the creaking floorboard. She padded her way into the woods, exploring the new area and leaving a trail behind her to know her way back. A broken branch here, a hole in the ground here, a broken arrow here. After about half a hour she creeped back, seeing Sage was awake. "Hey," Elara greeted, walking back into the cabin.

Sage moved to glance over at Elara when she came back. He was in the middle of fixing the door...he'd already done the frame, and was no doing the door itself. "Hey yourself," he mused, putting the last few nails in the door and testing it out. It worked, so he moved to squint up at the roof, which he definitely couldn't reach. He was...short, to say the least. He stood there for a moment before grunting and gesturing for Elara to come over. "Give me a boost up," he sort of grumbled, wishing he had a step stool or something. But he didn't. That was ok...he was light, since he'd never eaten much. She'd be able to shove him up there.

She set her arrows and bow aside, taking off the hunting cloak which was damp from the morning dew off, her golden blonde hair tumbling to below her shoulders. Elara tied it back before walking over to Sage and boosting him up.

Sage waited for her to take her cloak off, then let her boost him up, and hauled himself onto the roof with a grunt. He nearly fell through the roof though, since it was old, and steadied himself before he actually did fall through. "We're gonna have to replace most of this, I think," he called down, then pointed to some wood planks that he'd found inthe woods. "Hand those up to me?"
| |

"Probably, the woods practically rotten," She commented, handing up the planks.

Sage nodded with a grunt as he hauled the planks up, laying them across the roof one by one so he had a slightly stable surface to walk on. "Can you clear out anything under here? I'm gonna just bust through and redo it all," he noted.

"Yup," Elara called, starting to drag things out.
| |

Sage nodded, waiting for her to clear some things out and then started to break off the old roof, leaving the new planks and nailing them in as the base for the new one
