"Thanks. Personally, I think you're kind of hot." Harlow joked, looking back at him with a pleasant expression as she held his gaze. Her breath hitched as he leaned into her, and she sort of... froze. She blinked rapidly for a moment as his lips landed on hers before she closed her eyes and slowly reciprocated the kiss. She was gentle and a little unsure, but happy with it.

He pulled away slowly, blinking his eyes open. "I think you're kinda hot too." He cocked an eyebrow. "Sorry if that was..well- forward," he frowned slightly. Touching her cheek gently. It was very sudden, he wasn't sure why but she was quite alluring.

Harlow kept her eyes closed for a moment after he pulled away, then opened her eyes and watched him in somewhat surprised silence. She offered him a slight smile at his words. "Thanks." She said softly, tilting her head into his hand. "It's okay. I like forward." She said playfully, leaning into him slightly and letting her forehead rest against his gently. After a moment of simply searching his eyes, she closed her own and pressed another kiss to his lips, tightening her arm on him slightly. Edited at December 4, 2023 08:01 PM by Widow Valley Farms

He smiled softly at her, admiring her right back, staring into her alluring eyes. He shut his eyes and let her kiss him, reciprocating her energy. He smiled slightly and broke away from her. Blinking his eyes open, smiling. He gently kissed her cheek, letting go of her to roll onto his back and look at himself. His torso didn't look ..too bad. Better than it was. Worse than he wanted.

Harlow offered him a somewhat giddy smile, closing her eyes momentarily as he pressed a kiss to her cheek. She sat up slightly, tilting her head down at his stitches. Were they pretty? No. Did they look better? Yes. "Progress is progress. They look good." She quipped lightly, giving a faint yawn and settling her head tentatively on his shoulder.

Mark shrugged slightly. "They feel better too, they sting a little but its much nicer." He chuckled, sitting up all the way, stiff-ish, but that comes with not moving for next to two days. He touched his jaw, scabbing but better. He looked over out a window, rainwater dripped off the roof. "Do you think it smells like rain outside?" He looked back at her.

Harlow smiled, tilting her head at him with an inquisitive look. She was still trying to figure out what was going on since the two kisses, and it took her a few seconds to really register the question. "Probably. Why do you ask, stitches?" She asked playfully. New nickname invented.

He tilted his head. "Cuz I like the smell, obviously." He slipped his legs out from the blanket, slowly standing up. He leaned on the bes slightly, just a bit weak and dizzy but he didn't care, it'd probably go away soon. He leaned on the bedframe. "Well, you gonna get up, sleepyhead?"

"Unfortunately, yes." Harlow huffed, wiggling out from under the covers and walking up to him. "You want some help, wobbles?" She teased, offering him her arm.

He smiled at her, turning it to a glare at the nickname. "I don't need help..maybe a cane but that would just be for luxury." He said teasingly. He waved her hand off and stood up on his own now. He got his balance and walked toward the door. His limp looked a little heavier than usual.
