"Don't let it go to your head." Mercy teased, chuckling at the whole Cat vs. Man battle. "Yeah. One of them is petting a cat." She said sarcastically. Binx laid an angry paw on Ajax's hand, swatting him impatiently with his tail. She tilted her head at the question. "I don't have much time for one. Cats are much more independent, so they can handle being alone for long periods of time. I actually found Binx on the side of the road, and he was a bottle baby. So he's about as close to a dog as I can get." She joked.

Ajax looked at her with a sly smile. "Too late." He teased, chuckling. "Well that's not the best one!" Ajax complained, swatting Binx back with his finger. He barked a laugh when Mercy spoke again, ignoring the sharp pain. "You're right that most dogs are less independent... but some dogs are very independent." Ajax commented with a small smile.

"Guess so." Mercy sighed, smiling at him. "Sure it is. Well, the second best. The first is being with me." She teased. Binx gave an angry mew and butted his head against Ajax's hand, repeating it over and over again. "Some, yes. But it would take too much to find one of those." She smiled. "Well, let me guess... you're a dog person?"

Ajax snorted, looking unconvinced. "Yeah sure. you tell yourself that." He answered sweetly, a sly smile growing on his face... that faded slightly when Binx decided headbutting him as the best route to go. "Call your cat off, I surrender. What do you want me to do about... this?" Ajax asked with a groan. "It didn't take me much time to find one." He mumbled under his breath, then went to her next question. "You guessed correctly. Great detective skills, Miss Obvious." He said sarcastically, slowly clapping his hands together.

"We both know you know im right, so don't even." She teased. "Oh, no. You lost that right awhiiileee ago. Figure it out, smartie." Mercy smiled sarcastically, rolling her eyes at the comment under his breath. "Awh, thanks. I tried real, real hard to figure it out." She said sarcastically, gently grabbing his wrist and swatting his hand away with her other hand so he couldn't do a slow clap anymore. Binx mewed angrily and then hissed up at Ajax.

"I can't figure it out! My- brains topped working whe I got attacked. Wait no, it never worked in the first place. Sorry!" Ajax said apologetically, but he looked like he was trying not to laugh. "Real hard." He snickered, stopping his clapping when his hand got swatted away. "I don't think you figured out exactly what I meant by my little comment. Very quickly after I died I figured out teasing demons was fun, and right after I had gotten done teasing one I was walking away. Then a shape came right out of the darkness and just decided to bite my leg. Let me tell you, do NOT piss off a 200 pound dog. I do not know what I did, but man my leg was on fire. I whirled around and it was gone, so I just went home and treated the wound. The next day I saw the dog again, much clearer this time so I figured out it was a GSD/Doberman/St. Bernard mix. That thing as absolutely gigantic. It then came up to me and liced right where it had bit before disappearing again. I did not see it for however many days before it showed up again and din't leave my side till the wound healed." Ajax paused with a small smile. "Dogs can be independant. His name is Rex... the same nickname I got... and he comes and goes as he pleases, a lot like a cat. Then again, he is quite clingy when he is with me." Ajax finished and looked at Binx again. "Rex felt BAD when he bit me he DID NOT do it again." He said sternly, almost as if rebuking the cat

"That isn't surprising at all." She teased, gently releasing his wrist. She tilted her head as she listened to him intently, smiling towards the end. "Awh. I didn't know your nickname was Rex. Or that you had a- sort of- dog. You learn something new everyday, hm?" She smiled. Binx pinned his ears at Ajax's passive aggressive comment, his tail swaying. After, he pounced on his hand, relatively gently biting his thumb, kicking his forearm with his back legs and hanging onto his arm with his front. Luckily, his claws weren't out.

"Well now you do, and he is completely a dog! A perfect one, to say the least." Ajax said idignantly. When the cat started attacking his arm Ajax glared at Binx, not really knowing how to take care of that situation. 1) Send the cat flying. He crossed that option off immedietely, not wanting to mentally hurt Mercy... or physically hurt the cat. 2) ignore it. No way. 3) pet the cat. WHAT CHOICE DID HE HAVE. Ajax didn't know how to gently throw Binx off of him, he he instead just raised his arm till the cat was dangling in the air. "Do you see this? It's a minature velociraptor." He snorted

"Im sure we would get along very well." She teased, giggling at Binx. Speaking of, Binx gave a pitiful mew as he realized his situation, staring at Ajax with his wide yellow eyes. The cat did some catting and ended up scurrying up his arms to his shoulder, perching there with an angry hiss, and promptly smacking his nose a few times with a small paw. "Yeah. He can do that sometimes. I don't really think hes a cat, but velociraptor would be a good guess." She laughed.

Ajax looked appalled as the cat scrambled up his arm and started viciously attacking his nose. Great. 'Roasted Rattlesnakes, even if you would ask the cat to stop he wouldn't purely because he is enjoying this!" Ajax muttered under his breath, picking Binx up and dropping him on the soft mattress. He caught a glimpse of something out of the corner of his eye, glancing at the window and seeing a shape that looked like a small bear. "Can I jump out the window, or is there any other way to get out of here?" Ajax asked with a chuckle
