Mal nodded at Camron's comment about tea before saying, "I wouldn't mind to show you. In fact when the next big market happens I'll show you some of the tea stands people set up. That's usually where a bit of our tea comes from if the ships are slow." He then listens to Camron as he mentions the wounds from his fight earlier. "Well no one else in the palace acts like that to be honest," he explains, "so as long as you don't start any fights with anyone then they won't fight you." Mal then gives Camron a soft and reassuring smile as he sees him look at him.

(I do it quite frequently then just make a reply from 10pm-1am a bit later in some cases because I don't wanna forget again-)

[Camron listened to what Malcolm said about tea for a moment before responding, "Yeah, sounds like fun, unfortunate the ships are slow." He fiddled with his fingers a bit as Malcolm spoke, "Well yeah, sometimes you never know though, you could trust someone and they betray you." He have a slight shrug before returning the smile, "I assume the other staff here isn't like that guard but you honestly just never know for sure," he sighed a moment, "I just find it better, personally, to be more cautious, I don't quite know your staff too well."]

(Ah- I see. Well if you forget again I won't shame you. I'll remind you after a little while though, like a week or so.)

He listens to what Camron had to say about being unsure on trusting the other palace workers and nods a bit. "I understand you are cautious around them," he says, "and I'm sure they are cautious about you too, but I am sure you will warm up to them. Some of the older workers are really sweet and love to talk to younger people. Which can be a bit annoying at times, but they aren't that bad. The younger staff members usually keep to themselves since they are new to working here and don't want to mess up. But overall everyone balances one another out."

(Ahh curse my procrastination- Anyway, thank you for that, I am kind of the same way, sometimes time feels longer so I end up accidentally asking a bit fast but I do try to wait a bit. I once had a role play partner ask me everyday or two and it was such a fight and struggle when I was busy with some work.)

[He gave a little shrug, "I still don't know them too well." A sigh escaped, "A few of them seem nice, they've given friendly glances in the halls, I just prefer to be more cautious with those who I don't know well, it has definitely kept me safer than I would like to admit." Camron's gaze held on Malcolm, "I've been around you more than the other workers, I know more about you than them, it would be easier to trust you compared to another worker here." He looked away as he blushed slightly on the idea of what he just said.]

(Yeah I hate it when people bug you about your reply so soon like- Dude- I have a life outside of this game you know. But anyway you are welcome)

Malcolm leaned forward a tad bit as Camron spoke again then nodded some at the end. "Again that is understandable," he says while looking at Camron, "but I was just saying that you should get to know them sometime. It would be strange for you to work here for years and not know or trust, for the matter, anyone else inside the palace except for me." He then pauses for a moment before adding, "I'm not forcing you to do that though. I'm just saying you might want to consider." His gaze drifted a bit away from Camron for a moment before drifting back to him. He hoped what he had said didn't come off as rude or demanding.

(They had a thing where if you didn't reply in three days the rp was over x.x)

[Once he was pretty sure his face wasn't red or as red anymore he turned back to Malcolm, "Yeah I suppose- I will try to, at some point." He gave a slight sigh, "I rather heal from the aftermath's of that one guard first, I don't like to be around people I don't know as well when it's not as easy to defend myself." Camron paused thinking for a moment, "I'm sure your staff is very nice though." He followed up with after a moment.]

(Really? Wow that does not give you a lot of leverage.)

Mal smiles some as Camron said that he would try to get to know some of the other workers once he was healed. "Waiting until you are healed is fine," he says with a small nod in agreement to what he had said. Malcolm then nods once more at Camron's second comment. "Trust me. A lot of the workers here are really nice," Malcolm says, "it'll feel like you have a second family with them."

(Yeah, I don't remember if they asked ever day or every two days as a "warning" but I told them I couldn't reply for a while and they continued to nag me about how long it would take because they needed a time (I think I was busy for about a week because I was trying to finish stray work under a deathline) I literally had to tell them I was stressed and mentally unable to reply for them to leave me alone- it was horrible- I'm not in that role play anymore-)

[Camron tapped his fingers considering what Malcolm said. "I'll try to get to know some of them." He said after a bit of pondering over the topic. After a moment he shifted not wanting to linger on the current topic, "So.. your next in line for the throne-?" Camron took a breath trying to think, "That must be.. interesting-" He shifted uncomfortably once more after a moment not quite knowing what to say.]

(God that sucks. When I first started role playing I usually asked every few days but as time went on I landed on asking people if they wanted to continue after about a week or so. Once that time hit I would ask them politely and say that I understood if they were busy. If they didn't reply in that week I usually subscribed to the forum, if it was a forum, in case they returned. If not then I let their message get lost to time.)

Malcolm nodded again as Camron said he would try to get to know the people in the castle. At the next question Camron asked he let out a small sigh. He then listened to his comment before answering. "Yeah I'm next in line," he says, "and I suppose you can call it interesting.. It's more stressful to be honest. Everyone thinks being a prince is easy but in reality you have to train to take over the thrown all your life and be prepared to do so at anytime. You don't get a lot of freedom to just grow up and enjoy life. It's just learn how to rule the kingdom everyday.."

(I have an issue where sometimes it feels longer than it is when I'm waiting so I just accidentally ask like after three or four days x.x I honestly rather ask to make sure they are still wanting to continue, I try to ask a bit later though-)
