Gale awoke the next morning, biting back a groan from the new radiating pain.

The pain kept growing, leaving Gale writhing from it.

Kayla woke, seeing Gale. "Hey, babe, it's okay. Hey, you're okay" she said, calling a healer over

Gale just gritted his teeth, grabbing a healer's wrist with and iron grip. "Don't," He growled, the young man pulling back and rubbing his wrist.

"What can I do to help" she said quietly

He shook his head, the older healer coming over and noting Gale had torn his stitches by accident. He went to go sew them back, Gale jerking out of the way. "Hold him down," The healer ordered, a few others coming and pinning him down as he shouted curses at them before the words on his tounge left the second the needle pierced his skin.

"hey, it's okay, calm down, baby" Kayla said softly, stroking his cheeks and forcing him to look at her
