Gale's fingers dug into the board, leaving little crescent shaped marks as her words anchored him. He nodded, clenching his jaw hard enough he thought it would crack. |

The pain eventually dragged him under, his body going slack as the healers finally got some peace to try and salvage the raw slab otherwise known as his back. |
