Anya looked at him with slightly pursed lips, "I did..." she murmured as they paused at the door. She knew there'd be a lot of people, but now they were actually here... and she was, admittedly, getting herself more worked up about it. She felt bad that Sage had to put up with this, with her, but he could leave if he pleased. "Yeah, you're right," she murmured after a moment or two of silence. She didn't need to worry so much about any of this, after all, she was just organising, and her parents were the only ones dealing with them. The girl stood at the door for a moment as she waited for her mother and father to come out. Once the two had wandered out the door, Anya turned to Sage and gave a small smile. "Come on then," she sighed before turning to wander out the door, a forced smile across her face as she watched their guests clamber out of their carts. She could still taste blood in her mouth, and it just made her feel even more ill... it definitely wasn't helping

Sage sighed and nodded, kind of eyeing the king and queen when they joined them, staying with Anya between them and himself as they went to greet people. There were even more people than he had imagined...much more, and not many of them appeared to be servants. Well, that was....well it wasn't unexpected. Maybe it was bad, but he tended to imagine the worst of people until the proved him they could be trusted. And right now, this other kingdom definitely couldn't be trusted. He could tell Anya was worried, and he was too, so he stayed close enough to the girl to comfort himself a bit...and hopefully it would comfort her, too. He looked around, trying to get the faces of each person in his mind, as well as other details like what they were wearing and any bags they may have. He met the eyes of one man, who stared back at him angrily before turning away. Sage was confused ...but something told him this was definitely going to go wrong, but he pinched his lips together and tried to look at least a little bit welcoming. He did throw a glance at the girl and her parents, though he didn't really look long enough to get what they were thinking very well.

Anya stood rather tense as people filed in, trying to be as upbeat and friendly as possible, despite the fact that her nerves were running wild. She looked at her parents for a split second, and they seemed completely and utterly calm... so collected. She didn't understand it. Why was she so nervous? She had no reason to be. She found herself pressing her arm against Sage, almost as though she was using him to stop her from walking off so that she wasn't quite so... scared, she supposed. Soon enough, everyone important had filed into the castle, leaving their servants to pull their bags out and sort the horses out. Her parents had led them off, already turning into seemingly friendly people. Though, Anya couldn't make herself move... her heart was pounding, and it almost hurt. She didn't need to be around too much now... just make sure everyone was comfortable. She was normally quite good with people and managed to make up conversations, but she felt like a child like she wasn't going to do anything right. It was almost scary, and she'd never felt like that before... she wasn't sure how to deal with it.

Sage stood rather still as people came flooding into the castle, even though his eyes were darting around and his senses were overloaded with all of the sights and sounds that suddenly came into the castle. He did notice Anya press himself against him, and glanced over at the girl worriedly. She had to pull herself together....the worst part of hers, the biggest job she had, was done. Now she just had to act like a halfway decent person and she'd be fine. He patted the girls shoulder and whispered "you did fine," in her ear. She was a bit pale...he only noticed because he knew the girl well....but if she got much paler others were sure to notice. He put his hand on the girls back and gently guided her towards the dining hall, where people had started to gather. Most were still yelling at servants, which let her come in at a good time, but also not walk into a crazy amount of stimuli. Hopefully, she could have a moment to collect herself a bit.

Anya really just blinked when Sage started to talk... she felt bad, really. Sage probably wasn't thrilled to be out here, so she really wasn't sure why he was. She hadn't ordered him or anything. For some reason, he'd taken it upon himself to come along. Which meant he didn't need to be worrying about her. Not at all. She still had her teeth clamped down on her cheeks, but sat down once they were into the dining hall, and found herself fiddling with her hands... well, that was until she heard the doors opening and closing and then the sound of tiny footsteps running across the wooden floor. "Anya!" Att's voice called, though she didn't quite turn her head until the boy had started trying to crawl onto her lap. She didn't mind... and once they boy had gotten comfortable he simply rested his head on her shoulder as his little eyes followed people around, clearly very exited about the whole thing. He started going on about how the doctor had let him play all morning, and all about his little pictures, which of course she was happy to hear about. It calmed her nerves a little, so she let a slight smile cross her face as the boy told her about his day so far... it was definitely a comfort of sorts to see him so excitable.

Sage smiled when he noticed Att come running in...he definitely seemed to comfort the girl, which was definitely a good thing. He supposed a child was always good to cheer someone up a bit. Hopefully, Anya would relax a little bit more. Maybe food would help...though, he sort of hoped Luther would he along soon to help soothe the girl's nerves. Admittedly, he knew Anya better, at least currently, so he might be better at calming her down. But he wasn't there, so they would have to make do. Dinner was about to be served, so a good meal should help the tension in the room...on both sides. At least, that's what he hoped.

Anya managed to calm herself down a little bit by the time Luther came along... he had a few of the knights with him, though they weren't armoured. They were all laughing, and it just looked like they were there to fill a table. The other boy came over with a grin and went in to press a light kiss on Anya's cheek. "Hey there princess," the boy giggled before grabbing Att from her lap, which made the child squeal happily before he was plopped down on the seat next to him. Luther wrinkled his nose at the child playfully before looking at Anya with a grin. "Everything going okay?" he asked the girl with a slightly cocked head. Anya pursed her lips before looking at Sage briefly. She wanted to say she felt ill... like something was going to go wrong, but Sage said it was all fine... and she trusted him. "I think so... everyone seems upbeat," she told him after a moment of thought.

Sage nodded and gave Luther a grin. "Everyone's waiting for food at this point, " he informed the boy lightly. "Though, a few certain faces seem less friendly than others," he grumbled, glancing over at the man he'd locked eyes with when they'd first arrived. He was sitting in the corner with about ten or fifteen others, who also carried the expression of anger and annoyance in their faces. "They seem to just hate everything and everyone but eachother," he said, so only the two teens could hear him. "I'm keeping an eye on them. I don't think they'll try anything bad, but I don't trust them," he informed them. "If something seems off, one of you let me know." He wanted to be there if something did go wrong...if he wasn't he'd never forgive himself. And he'd rather them send for him if they felt uncomfortable, and have nothing happen, than for them to ignore a feeling and get hurt. Or have others get hurt.

Anya and Luther gave the other boy a curt nod before looking briefly towards the group of less-than-happy people. Anya wrinkled her nose slightly as she looked back towards Sage. "They don't seem too pleased to be here, do they?" She asked quietly. They talked for a little while before the food came out... massive platters of all kinds of foods and different jugs of juices and bottles of wine. She watched Luther fill a plate before reaching for a bottle. The girl poked his stomach and gave him a bit of a scowl, very clearly telling him 'no' to the wine. If he started to drink now, then he never would stop... and Luther was more annoying drunk than anything. Once everyone had their fill, the hall slowly started to file out... by the time it was about twelve, all that was left was a flat-out asleep Att on Luther's lap, Anya, Sage and the group of grumpy-looking people. Once the girl had cleaned up her plate, she gave a small type of yawn. "I'm gonna head off to bed," she whispered quietly before pressing a light kiss to Luther's forehead. "Will you put him to bed?" The other boy gave a bit of a nod and wished her a good night before she stood up and gently ruffled Sage's hair playfully. "Night," she noted before slowly starting to make her way across the castle. When she was about half way to her room, she couldn't help the overwhelming feeling that she was being followed... like eyes were burning into her back, and it was... uncomfortable to say the least. Still, she tried to shrug it up and just picked up her pace a little, thinking she was just tired and that a bit of sleep might do her some good, especially considering her nerves had gotten to her earlier that day.

Sage nodded and pursed his lips, thinking. They hadn't done anything to warrant such distrust, but they just looked...off. Oh well, maybe he was just hungry, and dinner would settle his nerves a bit. He did chuckle at Anya's poke, knowing that if Luther got drunk, things may go odd very quickly. It was a smart move, he supposed. The food was good, and he ate more then than he probably had in the entire past week or so. Maybe that was a bit of an exaggeration, but still. He grinned at the girl and grunted a goodnight to the other two teens before wandering back to his room, changing into his more comfy clothes as soon as possible before flopping back onto his bed with a tired sigh.
