Axel felt his smile grow when Duncan nuzzled his nose, nuzzling his back after a moment with a soft hum. "Good," he noted. "Me too," he added.

|
Duncan smiled, his eyes dipping down to his lips and then back up to his eyes. He bit his lip, suddenly feeling very small...

Axel noticed the way Duncan's eyes shifted to his lips, and then the way he pulled back. He chuckled softly, giving Duncan a smile. "You know, if you want to kiss me, you can," he noted, a fond amusement in his voice. He wanted it too - more than he could probably tell Duncan. But he was hoping for this. A lot.

Duncans stomach dropped and his entire neck, ears and cheeks went bright red with embarrassment. God he didn't know what he was doing... he'd never kissed anyone before... and he was too scared to make a first move. "I- uh- I don't- uh- I've never- uh- nevermind," he stuttered, his gaze flicking away from Axel, looking anywhere but at him.

Axel chuckled softly when Duncan started sputtering, a mischievous look crossing his face. "Now who's lying," he teased gently. He knew they both wanted it though, and he knew Duncan was nervous to initiate it, so he shifted so he could take the front of Duncan's shirt in hand and tug him forward, so their lips met lightly. It wasn't big, wasn't long, but it was...well, lovely. It left him breathless as he released Duncan's shirt, letting him pull back if he wanted. A flush was over his cheeks, too, a grin on his face. "See, wasn't so scary, was it," he noted gently.

Duncan wasn't expecting the kiss. He didn't have time to process what was going on until Axel had already pulled away. He didn't even have time to kiss him back. Duncans stomach turned and he got queasy. The awkwardness devoured at his insides and he felt sick. It was too fast, too unexpected, too awkward. Duncan got impossibly redder and pushed away from Axel abruptly. "I- um- I'm just gonna- uh- just gonna go," he muttered, backing away towards the door.

|
Axel could tell he'd gotten uneasy, and he suddenly felt a little guilty about pulling him in. He shouldn't have - not after what had happened. "Ok," he noted when Duncan said he should just go, trying to hide his disappointment. The morning had been so nice....he just wished it could have lasted. "Sorry," he added, sitting up and pushing his sleep-messy hair out of his face. "Be careful...don't get caught," he added, not wanting this to get any worse than it already was.

|
Duncan bit his lip, remembering the guards stationed right outside the door. "Shit..." he muttered, tears welling in his eyes. He didn't know what to do... Duncans eyes flicked around until he saw the bathroom entrance and he darted to it, shutting the door behind him and immediately running a cold bath for himself and getting in, not bothering to undress. Water always soothed him...

|
Axel flopped backwards onto his back with a sigh when Duncan moved into the bathroom and closed the door behind him. He closed his eyes again, though only briefly, since he clearly wasn't going to fall back asleep now. He wasn't sure what else to do though, so he just stayed there. He should probably go get ready - brush his hair and put on a fresh pair of clothes....but he just couldn't force himself up yet.

Duncan curled up in the tub, letting the cool water soothe him. He let his head dip under the surface in short intervals, calming himself down.
