A couple of minutes later, Charlotte spoke up. "I'm sorry you had to deal with me and my anxiety." She murmured in a low voice. She played nervously with a strand of her brunette hair.

"Hey, it's alright, I get it really bad too, honestly worse than this but, haven't had it that bad in a while." He explained

"This isn't my worst. Ever since... someone died in a horrible way it's been... rough." Charlotte muttered, voice barely a whisper, yawning. "People say that I'm stupid for having anxiety attacks over a late horse, but..." She drifted off, completely unaware of how tired she was.

Jaden told why he was anxious softly, all of his trauma pretty much, looking over and noting her asleep. He sighed softly, scooping her up gently before setting her back on the bed and pulling the covers back over her. The man sat on the edge of the bed for a moment, mindlessly tracing a vein which stood out on his arm, realizing he hadn't slept and most likely needed to for the next day's race. Jaden slipped under the covers beside her and drifted off.

Charlotte woke up to Jaden's alarm in the morning, rubbing the sleep from her eyes. "Ugh..." She muttered, still about half-awake as she looked over at Jaden. Charlotte stood up and walked over to the kitchenette, starting the small coffee machine.

Jaden was already awake, fidgeting heavily as stress formed over him. He was silent as he changed into his silks, chugging a RedBull before sticking another can in his bag. The man tugged his boots on, still silent as he slipped out the door and to his car.

Charlotte arrived shortly after, tacking up Loki and such to get ready as she talked to the stallion. She went to go put the saddle on him as he spooked slightly at the stirrup, ramming Charlotte into the wall. She managed to get the saddle on him, but her leg was sore.

Jaden hopped on, somewhat stiff as his anxiety nagged at him. He took off jogging down the track on Loki, the colt loading easily into the starting gate as his rider calmed himself. The gates shot open, Loki launching out and quickly gaining a steady speed many lengths infront of the other horses. The final stretch came quick, Jaden pushing Loki to his limits as the horse's hooves pounded the mud, sending some flying onto his rider's goggles, Jaden tossing the pair off and pulling a clean pair down.

Charlotte stayed at the stables, leg throbbing. She sat down on a hay bale, sighing as she took out her phone to watch the recording, silently cheering Jaden on.

Jaden won, slowing the colt down and getting walked to the winner's circle. Cameras flashed as they photographed the duo, the jockey with a fake smile.
