Sera woke up the next morning to racket outside. She groans, burying her head deeper into his chest.

Finnegan Larson - Finn was already awake, he woke when the noise started. Finn covered her ears with his hands when she woke. "Shhh, Sunshine... its okay, just rest," he murmured to her.

Sera blinked, her mind still hazy as the muffled sounds of the world began to sharpen. The gentle pressure of Finn's hands over her ears was the first thing she noticed, and the softness of his voice—“Shhh, Sunshine... it's okay, just rest.”—made her heart flutter with a mix of warmth and confusion. She hadn’t realized how tense her body had been until his calming presence washed over her, grounding her again. Slowly, she lowered her hands from her ears, glancing up at him, the concern in his eyes softening the sharp edges of the world that had been too loud just moments ago. “Finn…?” she whispered, her voice barely above a breath, still not fully awake. She wasn’t sure what was real and what was a dream. But his steady hands on her, his familiar scent surrounding her, it all felt so right. "Are you okay?" she asked again, her voice a little firmer now, though still thick with sleep. Her hand instinctively sought his, the warmth of his touch anchoring her in the moment. The world could be a chaotic place, but when Finn was close, she felt safe enough to let the noise fade away.

Sera nods, "I just don't like the noise"

Finnegan Larson - Finn gave her a sympathetic look. "I'm sorry, sunshine,"

"It's not your fault, it's okay" she says, snuggling into his chest

Finnegan Larson - Finn smiled and nodded. "Do you want me to cover your ears, sunshine?"

Finnegan Larson - Finn smiled and kissed her forehead before covering her ears with his hands, blocking the noise. He enveloped Sera in a big hug, protecting her from the world.
