Caden said " oh come on I hate being in bed " as he kisses her back then looks at the bed and sighed then said " fine I'll rest for now but not for long " as he smirks before Maddie came in and said " damn it I hate mom now "

Kennedy nodded her head "I know but it's good for you to rest" She said while placing a hand on his cheek to hold his face. "Good, I'll sit on the bed with you if you want" Kennedy offered before looking over at the door once Maddie walked in "Why would you say that Maddie?" She asked

Caden nods and said " lay instead of sitting I don't mind " as he walks to the bed before looking at Maddie and she said " cause mom thinks I need someone to take care of me and I have someone already one who can protect me as well" before Maddie leans against the wall

Kennedy let go of Caden so he could go ahead and lay down on the bed. She stayed standing and listened to Maddie "Well she just wants what's best for you Maddie. As a mother she will always want someone to care for you." Kennedy explained while moving over to the bed and sitting on it "Just let yourself decide who you want to care for you and if she isn't listening to you, come talk to me and I will share a few words with you mother" She said calmly while motioning for Caden to come lay down

Caden looks at both of them before getting into bed and lays down then said " or you could ask me to deal with her " Maddie nods and said " you need less stress dad so don't worry I know how to get her to leave " as she smirks before looking at them and shakes her head Before saying " so do I have a dinner date that I have to plan out " as she looks at them two

Kennedy watchs and waits for Caden to lay down, before settling down on her side, beside him, being careful of his IV and wounds. "I agree, you need less stress and if I hear your going to confront her then I will be your new problem" She half joked with a smile while using a hand to push back some hairs that covered his face. Kennedy listened to Maddie before chuckling and looking over at the girl "Oh hush little girl" She joked with a small laugh

Caden laughs and said " it won't tell the nurse or who ever was around " as he smirks before looking around Maddie said " come on you two someday I am going to be able to hold my baby sister or brother "

Kennedy laughed as she settled her head gently onto his shoulder that wasn't wounded. At Maddies comment she blushed heavily "Now don't get ahead of yourself there. Who said anything about kids now?" She joked with a sheepish smile

Caden lays his head on her and watches them and said " I want more kids " as he smirks before Maddie laughs and said " you guys are funny don't worry you guys don't have to rush "

Kennedy bit her lip at his response, her blush only growing brighter "Your such a tease" She joked as she noticed his smirk before looking at Maddie "Thank you because quite honestly I don't know if I'm ready for kids right now"
