Tyler glanced up as he heard a thump. He walked out of West's stall and peered outside. "Everything okay?" Tyler asked quietly, not getting too close

Surprisingly, she touched North's nose, before backing away in a hurry. "Did you see that?"
"Yes, I did. The younger they are the easier it is to get over trauma." Tyler said quietly, smiling a little at how excited Bella seemed

"I can't believe that worked!" she half screamed! In a few days she was brushing Silver and North, while sometimes taking them to do lunging.

Tyler half flinched at the scream, though he was pleased Bella was making progress - He walked out of the barn after saying hi to West, watching the horses lunge for a while. Bella had made amazing progress in this short time, and Tyler was impressed.

After a few days, Bella was haltering both the colt and the stallion, taking them out to practice manners, lunging, and a few bits of riding here and there.

Tyler finally threw a saddle on West again, deciding this would be just a normal day. Instead of the soft pants he usually wore (he didn't like wearing breeches and would only wear those for shows), he was wearing his preferred jeans. The surprising thing... West had a western tack set on. Not Dressage, nor English. Western. Tyler led him outside and tightened the cinch before tying the horse to a hitching post. He walked out and set up barrels in the arena that was not being used, a smile on his face. "First time in a long time we'll be practicing barrels, ain't it West?" Tyler drawled quietly, swinging up onto the tall horses and warming him up

Today was a saddle day. She quietly brought Silver out of his stall and gently put a saddle pad on his back. Silver sidestepped at the sight of a saddle pad, but half jumped when the saddle pad was put on him.

Tyler urged West into a canter, bending around the first barrel and going to the second. He galloped the horse to the third, rounding it and lengthening into a full out run. Tyler loved the feeling of the horse's power actually working under him, because he never got to go faster then an extended canter in Dressage. This was a good break for both West and himself

As the stallion calmed, Bella gently led him to the round pen, where she lunged him. Letting him get the feel of the saddle pad.
