She approached the entrance of the cave a bit after West walked out. She watched from the entrance as he stood in the rain and as the rain slowly went away until the storm was gone. -Thank goodness- she thinks as she trots out of the cave -finally room to move around.- Wither trotted around the area before stopping and watching as the other animals began to leave the cave. Herds of deer went one direction out of the area along with other animals while more mountainous animals went the other way and back to their own homes.

West smiled as he watched the animals run in the directions of their own homes. That stallion had quickly snuck out... so he wasn't going to be a problem. West looked at Wither, flicking his tail. "Welcome to back outside... and is Duke still asleep?" He asked with a laugh, glancing around. Mostly everything looked the same... a couple trees had been rooted up... the lake flooded... but other than those few minor details everything was great

She giggled with a nod, "Yeah. Once he is worn out enough he can sleep like a hibernating bear. Almost nothing can wake him up." She looked around at the damage and sighed some. It did look pretty bad, but this was life after a storm like they had just been through. She watches as a few ducks fly from the cave and land in the lake. A mother duck wattles out of the cave with her army of ducklings behind her and they all slide into the water.

West chuckled. "I never could sleep very well.. unless I passed out." He snorted, walking down and wading into the water. West observed the family of ducks as the swam across the now bigger pond. They were so cute... even HE thought that. West looked around at the other animals that were still exiting.

Wither nodded some and watched as he wadded into the now large body of water. A smile sat on her face as she watched him but she shook it away. She went over to analyze some of the uprooted trees and other plants. She slowly and carefully maneuvered through the destruction and looked around sadly. -Curse that storm- she thinks -this place was so nice.. I mean it still is but it was even nicer before that storm.-

West flicked his tail and walked out of the water, knowing he should go on a quick patrol. He started walking along the outsides of the valley, checking to make sure everything was still Stable and no animals were trapped that he could help. West finished going around the main field, then he squeezed into the flower field and started there, repeating the process again with another field.

Wither found an uprooted tree and found a fawn hiding in the roots of the tree. "Come on out little one," she says in a calming voice and lowers her head. The fawn slowly crawls out and Wither leads it back to the flooded pond. A doe was looking around frantically as the rest of the herd watched her. Wither nickered to the doe who looked over at her. The fawn ran over to the doe and the two rubbed their heads together happily. The doe looked at Wither and the two nodded at one another as the herd left the area.

West glanced over to see Wither guiding a young fawn back to its mother. He smiled slightly and kept checking, finally finding a young doe trapped under a fallen tree. She wasn't hurt... just trapped. West braced his shoulder against the tree and thanked the Lord it was small... then dug his hooves into the ground and pushed. The tree slowly rolled off the rock it had got caught on. The doe jumped away, tossing her head in thanks before running off to the herd.

The herd welcomed the fawn and the doe back and left the meadow. Wither smiled as the herd left, happy that the large family was back together. -I'm surprised they weren't injured during that storm,- she thinks, -they were just trapped and scared.- She looked over at West and smiled some before walking over to the water. She sniffed at it before taking a slow drink.

West flicked his tail and walked over to the water, glancing back at Duke. His face lit up with a mischevious smile and he glanced slyly at Wither. "You are going to say yes... so let's go wake up Duke. Or should I say, scare him out of his slumber." West said quietly, his eyes glittering. He started to think of a way...
