Anya had gotten everything sorted fairly quickly... once she'd done that she went over to her room and just sorted... organising. Her mother had said everything looked fine. That was good, and fine in her mothers word mean that she really quite liked it. Which was sweet. She went to clear out under the bed before pulling out the big white box that had Sages old outfit in it... she should probably give it to him. He could wear it if he was out and about, not that she imagined he'd be making much of an appearance while their visitors were there. She hummed before picking it up and making her way towards the ward before wandering in and dumping the box on Sages lap. She didn't really care if he was up or not... he would be now. "I want you to wear this tomorrow," she told him after a brief moment. "It might be a bit big still, but I don't want our visitors mistaking you for a servant... I have a feeling that wouldn't go down very well."

Sage poked his head out of the blankets, confused as to what the girl was talking about until he noticed the clothes inside the box that was now resting on his torso. He shrugged and nodded, sitting up and setting the box to the side, giving the girl a sheepish grin and chuckled when she noted that him being mistaken for a servant wouldn't end well. "Probably a good idea," he hummed. "If it is big, I'll just bug the doctor until we figure something out," he shrugged. Then he gave the girl a grin. "He's been doing nothing but sitting in that old office so he'll be glad to get out and do something."

Anya gave a slight nod. "I'm not sure how the tailor would feel about coming out here, so you might have some sewing to do," she told him with pursed lips. "It's a bit behind on the fashion... but it'll do. You might be left alone a bit more if you're somewhat groomed properly," she noted with a small chuckle. He might not even make an appearance... but if he did she wanted him to be at least a little prepared. She pouted after a moment or so with a slightly cocked head. "I'm surprised you're still in bed," she told him with a slight chuckle. "I was sure the doctor was having trouble keeping you in bed," she hummed lightheartedly.

Sage chuckled and shrugged. "Like I said, we'll figure something out. If we can stitch wounds up I think we can manage a shirt," he hummed. He made a face when she mentioned the doctor having to keep him in bed and snorted. "usually I guess he does tell me to stay in bed," he admitted. "I didn't fall asleep until almost dawn. I got busy drawing and there went my night," he chuckled, shaking his head. "Didn't mean to, but that's what ended up happening." He didn't ming though...he had been able to sleep in, and it wasn't like he had anything to do.

Anya pursed her lips into a bit of a line before rolling her eyes. "You and your drawings," she hummed with a bit of a laugh. "Hmm, I think the doctor really likes you. He just wants you to get better quick," she hummed lightly, "and knowing you you're likely to get yourself hurt before you've gotten better at all," she finished with a small laugh. "What'd you draw? Anything fun?" She asked curiously... really, she did like seeing all of his drawings... as long as they weren't too disturbing. (I'm out today so not on too much!)

(it's all good lol!) Sage chuckled sheepishly and and shrugged. "I know," he sighed. "But laying around is boring!" Then he grinned and snorted. "True. But I probably won't die," he pointed out. He pointed at the pile of papers and then shrugged once more. "Just what I saw outside the window." They weren't super detailed sketches, just tracing and lots of lines, really. It was in pen, not pencil, since that's what he had, but it was still really cool looking. And pretty, of course....nature was ways prettier than buildings and things. The woods had always been his home, not a specific building. Edited at January 6, 2023 06:57 PM by NightClan

Anya pursed her lips slightly when he mentioned he probably wouldn't die... they both Kew that wasn't exactly true. "Sage, hun, you don't have the best track record when it comes to not almost dying. I can see why he's cautious," she noted with a small chuckle before shaking her head. "Could I see? I actually quite like seeing all of your doodles," she chirped happily. That was true... Sage could probably make a half decent living through his artwork. Hell, he'd even helped decorate the castle amazingly. She knew people who would have charged a fortune for half of what he'd done.

Sage chuckled sheepishly, grunting in a kind of reluctant agreement with the girl's comment about him not having the best track record. "Hey, if I'm going to die it might as well be while I'm having fun," he huffed, though in amusement rather than anything else, really. He reached over to where the drawings rested in the window sill by the bed and handed the papers to Anya. "The last one I didn't quite finish. I passed out around five thirty ish," he chuckled slightly. "But you get the idea."

Anya hummed softly and made a face at the boy at his little musements before taking the papers off of him, a small smile lingering on her face. They were, undeniably, amazing. "they're good!" The girl chirped before lacing them back down on the side. "You know, you could probably make quite a bit of money off selling these. You could do portraits or something... and you like it so it wouldn't even feel like work," Anya noted before giving him another bright smile. "I do wonder if there's anything we can do for your issues sleeping, though. We could maybe put some lavender under your pillow... that might do something," she hummed quietly.

Sage shrugged at the girl's compliment, a light blush coming to rest on his cheeks in response to it. He cocked his head slightly at the girl's next comment thoughtfully, and nodded slowly. "I never thought of that," he hummed. "I never had time to sit and draw out there." He wrinkled and nose and shrugged again, sighing slightly. "It's annoying, but no much else. We could try some things, I guess, but if they don't work it's not a huge issue," he hummed.
