"Is there anything else?"
| |

Kayla nodded, kissing his cheek
| |

He looked up at her for a moment, expression raw before looking back away.
| |

"What are you thinking about?"
| |

"Trying to picture a future of us sitting on a porch of a cabin, far, far away from here with a kid or two running around out front. Where the guards never hunt us down, and where we can live with no opinoins voiced to us. Where the land isn't owned by any kingdom and has no guards, where our minds are stable. Somewhere we can...have peace."

Kayla was take slightly aback, not expecting this to be where his mind was. "You'd still want me after...well, everything?" SHe inquired, nervous about the answer
| |

"Why do you still have to ask that question?" He asks, his usual warm tone gone--yet not cold.
| |

"I've just been....questioning it recently and wondering if it's still worth it....for you to have someone broken and differnt after the last year. Or if you deserve someone better"
| |

"Eh, you're pretty great so I think i'm fine where I am."
