When the boy finally agreed to come with her, she gave a type of excited grin and started to pad off down the halls. It was still early... and she did feel a little bad for bugging him the way she did, but she was very, very nervous to get this all done. And Sage was good at it. Much better than she would be. "We just need to get the hallways looking somewhat similar to the dining hall... it doesn't have to be full-blown, but somewhat similar would be just fine," she told him as she came to a halt in one of the main corridors.

Sage padded along after the girl, groggily looking around the hallways as he went. No one else was awake yet, though he supposed that was fine with him ...it meant he could get his thing done and leave before others got there. He glanced over at the girl when she spoke and nodded for a moment as he yawned and processed what she was saying, curling up into the blanket he had around his shoulders a bit more. "I think some streamers and flowers and a few other small things here and there would do the trick," eventually murmured. "Grab some flowers from the garden, and I can make vines and whatnot out of the stuff hanging from the ceiling already." Really, it wouldn't take long, and it wouldn't be much work. The only thing he supposed they had to worry about was running out of flowers, but they had plenty, so even that wasn't too much of a worry.

Anya watched Sage as he scouted out the hall before telling her what he needed. She gave a bit of a nod and kind of saluted him in a teasing manner. "Yes sir!" The girl chirped before turning her heel out to the gardens. They'd likely need some flowers that matched their colour schemes... but really, how many flowers were blue or green? Maybe some Bluebells and Blue blooms would be fine, along with some white posies. They could have a green base for the vines. She did feel bad for making Sage help... it was early, and she knew he'd offered the day before, he'd most likely tire from her having him do all of the work... she did want them to work together on this though, or she'd never stop feeling guilty about taking the credit for it. She'd normally give him some sort of recognition for his work, but she wasn't sure what her mother would think of her if she admitted it wasn't her doing.

Sage plodded around the hallways near where Anya had left him, hanging some streamers and other things in a way that sort of went with the dining halls theme. That way, it would be ready by the time the girl got back with flowers, and they could go ahead and just plop them on there and move on to the next part. It didn't take him very long, so he was really just surveying what he'd done when the girl came back with armfuls of flowers. He set the blanket down on a chair and reached for some of the flowers, instructing the girl on how to hang them in a way that looked natural but like...good. He was waking up now, and was eagerly working away again. He had to admit, this was pretty fun, and he'd much rather be doing this now than when everyone was running around in the hallway.

They both worked relatively hard for the next hour or so... a couple of people had started to roam around the castle, but it wasn't too many people. Once they'd hung all of the flowers up, Anya found herself staring in awe at the corridor. It definitely looked good. Much better than what she'd had in mind, and a bit artsier, too. Normally, when things were all decorated, the castle just seemed a little more... dull. It was nice to see a bit of colour everywhere. "That'll do," the girl hummed quietly before giving a small smile. "Thank you again! It all looks amazing," she told the boy as she rocked back and forth on her heels, obviously a little bit giddy for everyone to see it.

Sage had fun decorating the castle, and he was definitely satisfied when it was all done. Of course, clean up would be a huge job, but he could deal with that later. He grinned over at the girl when she thanked him, plopping down into the chair and resting his elbow on the table to prop his head up as he looked around. Well, really, he knew what the hallways looked like, and as of right then he was watching the girl next to him bounce up and down with excitement because of some decorations. It was quite amusing, even if he was exhausted. Though, he did feel himself slipping off again, and admittedly, he ended up falling asleep where he was sitting watching the girl. They'd probably laugh about it later, but right then he hadn't even noticed. He was just tired. He was glad they'd gotten it done though...and the girl definitely looked more at ease with the hallways fancied up a bit.

Anya stood for a moment, a huge smile plastered across her face before she glanced back to say something else, only to see Sage had slipped off to sleep again. She had to say, she was a little amused by the sight, but she still kept a gentle smile across her face as she went to sit next to him. He still looked like he'd gotten younger when he slept, and she still thought it was rather sweet. Still, she couldn't leave him asleep in the corridors to be picked on. She sighed and gently tapped his shoulder and gently tried a coo of his name to get him up. She just needed him to get back to his room and he could crash... though, she did still want to talk to him about his pictures.

Sage blinked his eyes open when Anya tapped him, looking over at the girl groggily as he tried to figure out what exactly was going on. It took him a good while...at least a solid ten seconds or so...before he finally processed that he'd fallen asleep in the hallway after sitting down, and yes, he probably needed to go back to his room rather than just lay where he was at, and no Anya wasn't going to just drag him off somewhere to sleep. He gave the girl a sheepish smile, though he was still half asleep and picked his head up off of where it was propped up in his arm. "Oops," he muttered with a yawn that looked a bit more like a tiny bunny yawn than anything else. He watched the girl stand up before getting to his feet with a grunt and wrapping himself up in the blanket again as he plodded after the girl on the way back to his room.

Anya gave him a slightly sheepish smile to the boy as he started to wake up again. She didn't really want to wake him up, but she also didn't have the heart to leave him there. Once they'd waddled back to the ward, she helped Sage back into bed before tucking him in much the same way she would with Att. "Right, I've put you to bed, you're all tucked in, do you need someone to read you a story too?" she teased the boy quietly. She glanced to the side where she'd put his drawings before pursuing her lips slightly... she did need to talk to him about those, but he seemed so tired... he'd have to be to fall asleep the way he had.

Sage wandered along behind the girl, letting out a kind of tired squeak when the girl shoved him onto the bed and decided to tuck him in like a young child. Though, he did have the brain power to giggle and grin up at the girl. "Only if I get a kiss goodnight too," he hummed, really just teasing the girl. Then he chuckled and waved the girl off. "Go get done what needs to get done," he chirped before yawning. "I'll manage to be fine."
