Kai ate slowly, only regaining his appetite now.

Cam went to get showered quickly, getting changed into something more comfortable before wandering back into the room. She watched Kai for a moment as he ate. She couldn't help her small frown as she wandered up behind where he was sat, and gently wrapped her arms around his shoulders in a loose sort of hug.

Kai leaned back into her embrace, closing his eyes and humming contently.

Camery smiled softly after a moment, burying her nose into his neck. She hoped he was feeling better. The last thing she ever wanted was for him to be upset in any way... especially about their child.

Kai kissed her cheek. "I love you..."

Camery smiled softly, squeezing him a little tighter after a moment. "I love you too. Always," she murmured, reaching around to hold his hand. "I hate it when you cry..."

Kai squee,ed her hand, kissing the back of it, "Im so sorry..."

Camery shook her head softly after a moment. "Come," she murmured softly, going to sit on the bed, offeting her hands out to him. "You have to know your safe with me, I'm not going to shout at you or... anything your father did to you when things go wrong. You don't need to get so upset about things," she promised.

Kai nodded, taking her hands and laying down with her, "I know..." he murmured. But it wasn't what she thought it was. He knew she'd never hurt him or yell at him. With his father, he'd always had to hide his emotions and then melt down into a sobbing puddle later that night, when he was alone. But with her, he didn't feel he needed to hide it from her, but he still got upset and cried every so often. His BPD might've contributed to his meltdowns as well...

Camery smiled softly to him as he layed down next to her, and leaned in to press a soft kiss to his neck, burying her nose into his neck. "You don't have to be upset about things," she promised softly.
