Nate stayed with her, holding her protectively.

Dakota curled into Nate's touch. Hunter sighed, bored. "Daddy, can we go home soon?" He whined

"Not yet, baby, but soon,"

The doctor walked back in, holding a small paper bag. "Here's the painkillers. She needs to take one twice a day or three times if it gets really bad. If she still has pain past that, bring her back in and ask for Dr. Drotton." She said softly, patting Dakota's shoulder reassuringly. "The whole stay is covered and your previous doctor has been fired and arrested." She said with a soft smile. "You guys are free to head out whenever."

Nate nodded. "Thank you... thank you so much,"

Dakota looked up at Nate. "Can we head home?" She asked quielt,y headache stil raging

Nate nodded, "Yeah, let's go home," he murmured. "Take this," he said, handing her the pill and some water.

She did so, standing and following Nate out to the car
