"Promise me you'll try again tomorrow? I'm not letting you starve here," Duncan whispered, crawling into bed with him, curling up on his side to talk to him, but not touching. Duncan wanted to reach out and touch him, maybe even cuddle, but he was too shy to make the first move. It was weird, his thing with touch, he had his good moments and his bad moments.

Axel let out a heavy breath of air but nodded, letting himself roll back over onto his back. "Alright, I will," he agreed. He was reluctant to, but he knew Duncan was right. He did need to eat. When he curled up beside him, he heasitantly reached for his head, hoping he'd be fine with it. He wanted to do more, to curl up in his arms, to let him hold him. He didn't think he'd ever be held before. He just didn't want to scare him off, especially after what had recently happened to him.

Duncan smiled softly when he noticed his hand. He grasped it gently, intertwining their fingers. Duncan inched closer over the next few minutes, getting used to the proximity little by little, until Duncans face was tucked up against Axels chest. He curled into him, cuddling in. Even though height wise, Duncan was taller than Axel, Duncan just wanted to be the smaller one in the relationship. He wanted to be held and cared for and be protected... he just hoped Axel would be okay with that.

Axel felt a sort of smile cross his face when Duncan tightened his grip on his hand. He had closed his eyes trying to sleep again, though he wasn't getting very far. When Duncan nestled up against him, he opened his eyes, surprised, before smiling and shifted to tuck his nose into Duncan's hair and nestle in, wrapping his arms around him. He relaxed then, just breathing in Duncan's scent. Admittedly, he pretty well crashed after that. His body was exhausted so it made sense, he supposed. But he passed out pretty much as soon as he curled up with Duncan.

Duncan passed out pretty fast as well. He woke the next morning, tangled up with Axel, warming in the morning sun.

Axel slept pretty late the next morning, even past Duncan. He came around soon though, shifting slightly to tuck himself in further into Duncan with a sleepy sort of sigh. He was just so comfortable like that....he could just rest here for a while longer. Right?

Duncan nuzzled his face against him, leaning up and running his nose along his cheek, his lips barely brushing.

Axel couldn't help but giggle softly at the nuzzle, still half asleep. "Morning," he noted quietly, tilting his face towards Duncan's slightly. "Feeling better," he added, just happy to bask in the quiet of the morning.

Duncan smiled. "Morning," he whispered, nuzzling his nose against Axels softly. "Much better,"
