She had her head held low as she seen his friends leave and she thought he went with them she sighed " alright girl we got to try to get through this one " she then heard her name called and she galled " this is the last one the one that tells me if I'm good enough for the NFR we've tried for years now so we can't hit a barrel ok girl I have to stay seated " she said as she walked up the ally as soon as Amber seen the barrels her ears went back and Amy patted ambers neck then clicked her tounge Amber took off heading towards the right barrel like she always did, the words of Amy's lover ran through her mind as she did what he said she should do she stayed seated and made the turn smooth and close to the barrel ambers hooves pushing through the dirt and sand mixture of the ground she then ran to the second barrel doing the same thing on her way to the third barrel her rains snapped and Amy's eyes widen but Amber kept going she turned the third barrel on her own Amy just gripped with her thighs and hoped for the best and it was the best Amber ran al the way home not stopping till the gate came up and she came to a sliding stop and Amy held on once stopped she got off with a smile and walked out to the warm up pin and loses up Amber, she then wrapped her arms around ambers neck and hugged her " your the best even if we don't get in the NFR" Edited at April 4, 2025 11:46 PM by thatcowgirl2006 |

Marco found her quickly after her run, jogging in but walking as to not spook Amber. He immediately went to the mare first, rubbing her neck before turning to Amy. "There's no way on planet Earth you didn't qualify, I wouldn't beleive it." Marco mused, sliding a arm around her. |

She pulled away from Amber as she heard someone come up to Amber and she smiled " let's hope I just wish my damn rains didn't brake" |

"Even with them breaking, i'm still sure you made it." He said happily, glaring at Amber when the mare tried to bite him. |

She giggled " I have to change my rains out now but after I hear the placings" she paused " I thought you left" |

Marco shook his head slightly when she thought he had left, scoffing lightly. "Nah, they're going down to go do a bar marathon. They're all 21 and 22, I just drink whatever they bring back AND, and and and, can't forget and, AND I wanted to watch my girl run." |

She smiled and pulled him into a kiss hearing the bitch of a barrel racer who hated Amy gasp which made Amy want to started making out with Marco |

Marco kissed her back before he saw the bitch and smirked, staring into her eyes as he pecked Amy's lips once more before smirking at her still. "Still don't want to accept the truth, don't ya?" The man muttered to himself, chuckling lightly. "What do you say we go grab some dinner and uh, celebrate, if you will." Marco said, voice quiet as he asked Amy. |
