Gale shoved the bag into his pocket again,murder on his mind. "Those fuckers....turns out some miracles don't come true.Hence now,their miracle was their life." He roared,darting to a tent and hopping on one of the few horses,bow on his back and many daggers in his pockets.Gale kicked the horse on,rage on the reins.He turned,jumping off the horse and landing swiftly at the camp. "The money." He snaps,getting wide looks. "Now." Gale growled,dagger gleaming in his hand. |

Kayla heard him ride off, sighing |

"Oh i'm sorry,we were looking for a," The leader says,standing and pulling out a long dagger. "Fight." Others followed him,standing and drawing their weapons aswell. "Oh shit." Gale muttered,hopping back on the horse as they charged forward,one latching onto his back and dragging their knife across his chest,a fresh stain of red erupting.Gale turned,getting a cut before getting stabbed in the shoulder,him groaning as it landed.The horse snorted,starting to slow.Gale kicked it on,a new,deeper gash along his side.He made no sound,twisting the attacker off the horse just as a arrow landed in his arm,him not even noticing as he focused ahead.They eventually made it back to camp,Gale and the horse soaked in red,Gale having both a dagger and arrow still sticking out of him.He sagged off the horse,wincing as he landed. |

Kayla heard Gale come galloping back. She got up and ran back to camp, feeling something was off. She gasped when she saw Gale. "What happened?" She asked, not wanting to touch his wounds in case she hurt him |

"Went to go get the rest of my money.Turns out they regrouped.Chased me down the road." He managed,tying the horse back. "Can you pull that dagger out?" He asks,ripping the arrow out and tossing it aside. |

Kayla nodded, pulling it out and setting it to the side. "What do you need?" She asked |

"Nothing." Gale starts,washing off his hands in a nearby bucket of water. "Scratch that,anything." He corrects,taking the dagger and putting it in his pocket,planning on keeping it. |

"What I mean is a comedic idiot,something to stab,and--why?Why right now?It is almost the dead of night,why?" Gale asks,shifting his attention to Sage who looked like he'd just seen a ghost. "I thought I was going to die." He muttered,chest heaving. "And why's that?" Gale asked,annoyed. "I was looking for you,I needed a comedic idiot,and then,I heard shouting,and then I saw a horse fly by,and then a group went from somebody else to me!" Sage exclaims,throwing his hands in the air.Gale just chuckled,looking down. "That was me,dumbass.One thing for sure,they ain't giving me no more money." He snarks,Sage just looking at him as Gale chuckled alone. "Money?" Sage asks,eyes widening as he glanced at Kayla,him looking back at Gale and him nodding.Sage had a shocked look on his face. "You were gone,for that?How much did they pay you?Atleast." He says,glancing looks at Kayla. "Yeah,I was.Waste of time,I know.Got paid,mhm,10 thousand?Was supposed to get paid 10 thousand 5 hundred.Turns out five hundred is too much." He muttered,staring at the ground as the men fell silent. |
