"Teach me how to draw" she blurted out, hopping off the counter and grabbing a napkin and a pencil from one of the drawers she had rummaged through earlier that week. "here" she grinned, her face bright. "please?" She batter her eyelashes in the most dramatic way, cracking herself up. She pulled up a chair, plopping down it and leaning closer to him so she could see exactly what he was doing.

Sage sort of chuckled and shook his head in amusement, but scooted over so she could pull a chair up and took the pencil she offered to him with a hum. "What do you want to draw, then," he asked lightly, sort of tapping the eraser end of the pencil on his temple absentmindedly as he thought.

Flo thought for a second before an idea came to mind. "A rabbit?" She gave a shy smile as she looked over at him

Sage sort of hummed and nodded after thinking for a minute and moving to sketch out a rabbit in basic shapes. "Everything is made up of basic shapes, and those are those shapes all have their own shadings," he mused lightly. "We can start there," he added lightly, showing her those shadings and then letting her try it out for herself as they went along.

Florida squinted down at his napkin then down at hers. "okay..." she started drawing lines that looked similar to his yet completely different. "oh geez" she shook her head when her shaded lines didn't shade. "What's that" she laughed, pointing down at her finished project. "yours looks so good! Mine looks like it got ran over by a 18-wheeler... seventeen times" she rubbed the back of her neck, giving Sage an awkward grin

Sage chuckled softly, giving the girl pointers here and there. He grinned over at her when she said it didn't look good, shaking his head. "I seen worse, believe me," he mused lightly. "Just takes practice," he added with a shrug. "you'll get the hang of it."

"It's soooo bad" she giggled after a second, flipping the page around so the bottom was at the top. "Look now it's a duck" she laughed

|
Sage simply chuckled in response to her comments, rather sounded by the whole thing. "That's one way of doing it," he missed lightly, glancing over at the toaster as it sounded, letting them know their food was done.

|
"Ooo food!" Flo jumped up, carefully lifting the waffles from the toaster. "Ah ah hot" she muttered as she dropped the waffles onto a paper plate. "Breakfast is served" she gently pushed the plate towards him the skipped around the counter, dropping into the seat beside Sage. She picked a waffle up then took a huge bite from it. "mmm"

Sage couldn't help but laugh at her hopping about. One would think nothing bad ever happened in the world, just watching her get the waffles happily. He wished he could forget the bad thigns going on....but he couldn't There was no reason to be all grumpy though, so he grinned and chirped out a "thanks" when she handed him his food, biting into it happily.
