"You're not a bother. Usually. But sleep as long as you want, I'll make you some food next time you come out of hibernation." Harlow quipped playfully. "Night-night." She said lightly, turning and closing his door behind her as she went to her room. ((Sounds good to me- we skippeth to him bein spooked by her sobbing?))

He snickered. "I'll be sure to remember that." He cocked an eyebrow. "Goodnight." He said sweetly, looking over the bed. Soon he was fast asleep. yes- you start because yes))

Harlow had done nothing but read the whole day. And she took a shower, so there was that. But without Mark to distract her from her own mind, the same scene kept repeating over and over again. While conscious, she could press it down and ignore it. But when she drifted off to sleep, there was nothing guarding her from it. It was almost midnight when soft sobs started carrying across the house, the occasional whine or whimper of torment. She was half conscious- somewhere between sleep and waking and stuck in an endless nightmare. She was curled up tightly, tears streaming down her face as she shivered.

THUNDER)) Mark had been semi-peacefully sleeping for about thirty hours at this point. He was still tired and in hibernation mode, but something made him stir. He blinked awake, hearing the pittering of rain on the roof. He heard thunder faintly. But something caught his attention unlike those. He rolled over, wincing slightly as he sat up and pushed out of bed, he felt incredibly unsteady but he was on a mission. He limped over to the door and opened it. He waited til he heard the whimper once more. Turning to the one room he'd not been in. Was it Harlow? He wandered over, gingerly opening the old door, lightning flashed over his silhouette. He could hear the aobbing all to clear now, he stood there for a moment. "Are you okay?" He was basically whispering, he could hardly put enough efforts into it to make a sound, let alone a loud one. He looked over her with concern, stepping in further. Thunder crackled in the distance.

And LOIGHTNIN)) Harlow flinched at the crack of distant thunder, throughly awake but unable to pull herself out of the state she was in. She lifted her head at the sound of his voice, looking too tired to be alarmed, or guarded. She swallowed and stared at him for a few moments, trying to pull words together through tears. Nothing guarded came, no questions, just an answer. "I'm scared." She whispered back, flinching as another bout of thunder cracked.

Mark stared at her in such a sweet and concerned matter he might've been embarrassed in any other situation. Through the flashes of lightning he could see how horrible of a state she was in. He relaxed slightly at her words, she seemed so different like this, so new. "It's.. It's okay." He said quietly, making a split decision that really should've taken greater thought to not be impulsive. He slipped into the room, shutting the door behind him. He limped over- realizing now how heavily he'd been leaning on the door just then. He looked over the bed and then leaned over, crawling in. He got up to where she was he sat down, quite close to her. He hesitantly put a hand out and touched her, and then the other. Pulling her close, to his chest, wincing slightly as he wrapped his arms around her.

Harlow watched him quietly, trying to calm herself down as he came closer. She cocked her head ever so slightly as he crawled into bed beside her, tears still streaming down her face while the sobs had by a bit. She blinked in surprise as she got slowly pulled against his chest, remaining how she was for a moment before slowly shifting closer to him. She closed her eyes and settled her head in his neck, giving a few quiet sobs while her arms wrapped around him. Her hands gripped at his back gently as she cried. The intensity and frequency of her sobs began to decrease somewhat rapidly now that he was comforting her.

..should he is shirtless?)) He put his chin on her head, sighing slightly. He was pretty much doomed to fall asleep again soon. But he was determined not to lay down til she was comfortable. He had his hands laced at her waist, quiet. Mark blinked excessively, trying to stay awake. But as he noticed her calming down, he started to feel much more tired. He put a hand down and laid down, still ahold of her but letting her get comfortable. Laying on his side was much nicer.

Indeed)) Harlow tucked her head a little more under his chin as he settled it there, lying down with him without a complaint. Tears were still streaming from her eyes but the sobs had subsided and she seemed more... exhausted than anything. "I'm sorry I woke you up." She muttered softly, cuddling closer against him and keeping her head beneath his.

He relaxed into the bed incredibly fast. He newtled into her pillow slighrly. "Oh stop it." He said in a teasing voice, his right arm was curled up at his chest slightly under her and his left was draped over her. He was making gentle circles on her back with his finger, fidgeting trying to stay awake. "Go to sleep so I can hibernate more." He kissed the top of her head, pulling his arm over her shoulders.
