She looked up toward the trees and held her arm out to stop Laura. She nodded silently toward where she was looking, where a squirrel was busily eating something on a branch. "Shoot." She mouthed at her, putting her arm down and stepping back.

She stared at Laura for a moment, then raised her gun up and with little hesitation pulled the trigger. Said squirrel plummeted, dead as it hit the ground. L "Yum, squirrel." She said quietly, and sarcastically but on the teasing side.

"Hey, beggars can't be choosers." She chuckled. "Go pick it up, put it in the bag I told you to bring. Then we'll see if you can find one on your own and shoot it. After, it's rifle time." Mercy chimed quietly. She generally seemed quite at peace when hunting.

She smiled softly, slinging the bag off her shoulder and walking over to drop it in. As she came back she got a little curious. L "Hey, whats all that shit between you and Luke? You guys must've had a fight or something. Assuming you're dating." She said as she slung the bag over her back.

She blinked at the girl, slightly in shock. Her hangover brain wasnt ready to bring that up again. "Well, uhm-" She looked off, flushing. "Uh, No, we are not dating. We just kind of- live together? Okay, now that sounds stupid- uhm, not dating. Basically the opposite of a fight, though." She shrugged, wondering why she was just spewing her guts to this girl. "I uh... well, I had, as Luke said, a rough night. I said something that made it awkward. And neither of us are grown up enough to talk about it so we're going to ignore until it goes away. I think. Wait, no, aren't we supposed to be hunting right now? Go- go do your hunting thing." She huffed, squeezing her bow slightly.

Laura smiled sinisterly as Mercy struggled to explain it. L "That stuff doesn't just go away. Or at least usually I don't think it can, because he didn't mind what you said at all." She winked vaguely and walked off into the woods, sneakily looking for another animal to shoot.

"Wha- wait- how much did he tell you?" She whimpered, following the girl and hiding her face in her hands for a few moments. "Fucking boys..." She sighed quietly. I can't believe that this girl is giving me advice. And smart advice, too. After that she figured she could pester Laura for more information when they weren't trying to feed 147 or more people so far with only a squirrel.

She grinned back. L "He only said as far as you were a bit intoxicated. But I could see it on his face." She said as they picked a few path. Skip? Bringing back the catch but not quite inside?))

"I still can't believe Luke told you that..." She grumbled. "Who the hell tells the trainee of a person that their trainer got drunk last night? Like what the fuck?!" She huffed, as they brought back a smaller deer and a bag filled with rabbits and squirrels. Mercy was dragging the deer relatively easily, still grumbling about Luke.
