Regan grinned at his playful glare before shrugging. "If you're tired, you can come sleep in my shed thing... I'll stay about and make sure you're alright," she promised him in a slightly more friendly tone. "I've noticed you losing weight over the last few weeks... stressing out and not getting enough sleep won't help you at all," she then addd quite quickly. She furrowed her brows and looked back over to the girl with the tank, then back to Tyler. "Why not? I thought she seemed nice enough," she then added to him... she was a bit confused, the girl had been nothing but welcoming to them. She chuckled at his last comment, though. "Oh? So you're saying if you were in pain you'd just suffer?" She asked with a cocked head. "That's not good when you're trying to run away from a mountain lion," she told him with a chuckle.

Tyler sighed, glancing at Regan. "You've lost much more weight then me.. ill be fine." He said quietly, his gaze sad. "And no I'm not saying that.... I'm just saying I wouldn't ask anyone for that particular thing. Especially her." Tyler snorted. He didn't really understand Regan... he had just met her. And even then all she did was smile and walk away. Tyler glanced at the girl again... mortified to see she was coming his direction. - Lily glanced around camp, the strong man from yesterday catching her eye. She sauntered over. "Hello! I bet you remember me... obviously. I never got to know your name, what is it?" Lily chirped, shifting and looking at Tyler, completely ignoring Regan. - Tyler watched, trying to not let his face show,.. emotion as the girl walked up. "...yes, I remember you quite well." He said gruffly, eyeing her up and down. Why did she want to talk to him so badly? And why didn't she talk to Regan... Regan was the female here. "My name is Tyler..." he said cautiously. He was going to give her a fake name... well half fake. He was going to give her his middle name, Aaron... but then thought about what Regan would have said. He decided against it.

Regan rolled her eyes the tiniest of bits. She had always been thin... even before all of this, so hasn't lost much weight, really. She just stayed thin. "I mean, there has to be a doctor or something here that can give you something settle the pain a bit," she told him thoughtfully. Really, she didn't have a clue, but she could wonder all the same. She could see him looking at her funny and sighed. "She showed up where we were staying and was perfectly nice about it. I don't see your issue," she told him after abit. Though she was a bit taken aback when she was completely ignored.

"Oh well Hi Tyler!" Lily smiled at him cheerfully. "I hope to see you around!" She squeaked, bouncing off in the other direction - Tyler tried very. Very. Very hard to not look.... a little confused. He watched her retreat and looked back to Regan. "..." Tyler started to say something but thought better of it, tipping his head and looking at the sky for a moment. "I don't have An issue" he answered at last, very slowly. Tyler had refrained from saying that her squeak was terribly loud and it hurt his ears... because he tried not to complain. He just didn't really understand. There were plenty of nicer guys here that would love to talk to her...

Regan cocked her head at the girl as she bounced off... Regan had been excited to have another girl her age to talk and gossip with, so she was a little bit disheartened that this Lily didn't seem to want anything to do with her. All the same, she sighed and smiled gently back to Tyler. "You obviously do have an issue - she was being lovely," She told him softly. She was trying to be positive... not that it was doing much. "You need to make more of an effort to talk to people, or you're going to be lonely," she eventually advised him.

Tyler sighed. "What if I met just meant to be lonely? What if that's just better for me?" He asked, shaking his head. "I don't get along well with most people... even if I try to..." he trailed off with a sigh. It was true... he didn't really get along with anyone. Regan was a one in few he could live with... without getting very angry at. Ever since his dad, Tyler had changed...

Regan shook her head a little bit. "Well, you're not meant to be lonely. Do you remember when we first met, and you told me that once all of this was over you were going to find a girl, get married and have a family? If that's what you really want then you're going to have to try just a tiny bit harder with people." She sighed and looked over to the still-burning fire, where a kind of porridge was now bubbling in the pan, and where the blue tanked topped girl was. "Like she wants to get along with you. She's trying and you're not making it easy for her," she prompted quietly.

Tyler glanced at Regan. He did remember that... just another thing he now regretted. He also remembered at the time Regan laughed at him for it, saying the pandemic was never going to be over and he had to give up that hope right away. The news... he did. Ever since then Tyler never really was interested in... having a family. He didn't think he could.. or that anyone would like him, after all he's been through. As soon as they got to know him they would probably Be grossed out and disgusted, immediately leaving. Tyler thought back... and Regan was literally the only person that actually knew most of his past and didn't bolt away like a scared rabbit. "That hope is long gone." Tyler muttered, but he glanced at the girl in sky blue anyway. It was long gone.... but he knew Regan would keep nagging him till he made an effort to be nice. He looked at Regan, then sighed. "Okay... if she approaches me again and I'm not in a bad mood, I will try to engage in the interaction." He said gruffly, looking up at the sky for a moment.

Regan smiled lightly to him before nodding. She did feel bad for making him feel like it wasn't possible... but it was. Someone would figure everything out and life would be normal again... hopefully. "No it's not," she told him, gently bumping his side. It was good to have something to look forward to. "It'll happen, eventually," she chirped to him. She really hoped so, too... Tyler had already been through enough. It would be awful to see him have a life as miserable as his past, it really would... they weren't close, but they were friends, and she didn't want any one of her friends to live badly. "No, go and talk to her during breakfast. Don't wait for people to come to you, Tyler," she eventually sighed.

-what if I don't want it to happen- Tyler thought, glancing around. He ran a hand through his hair and looked at Regan. "You. Are very stubborn." He grunted, glancing at the girl again. There was no way he was going to approach her... the only reason he would be doing it is because Regan told him to. "If she acts like she normally does- and she's coming over. Told you." Tyler snorted, watching as the girl stood and started walking towards them - "Hello Tyler!" Lily smiled brightly. - "Hi..." Tyler cleared his throat. "By the way Lily.. this is Regan." He tipped his head towards Reagan while looking at Lily. Tyler knew Regan wanted him to talk to Lily.... but Regan needed to talk to her too. - Lily glanced over at Regan. "Oh hi Reganii or whoever. So Tyler, I'm about to go on a walk, wanna come?" Lily asked, not even looking at Regan. - Tyler .... didn't exactly know what to do. He... he didn't want to go on a walk with this girl when she just ignored Regan... but Regan said that he should *interact* more. *talk* more. Even thinking the words made him a little unhappy. He glanced between Lily and Regan, waiting to see how Regan reacted before he gave his answer
