Quinn stood. "We's best gather up our stuff then." She knew they couldn't carry it all back, so instead she didn't a cool little trick she had learned as a kid. Quinn quickly dug a fairly big sized hole, taking a tarp out of her bag. She put everything they didn't really need, including the blankets, into it, then tied it together and put it under, covering it with a small layer of dirt. "There. They won't get dirty or wet from the storm, and we can come back later." She said, beads of sweat dropping down her face. Digging a hole... sucked. Quinn then grabbed the stuff that was importantly to bring back, such as extra clothing, and put it in her saddle bags. Once she was all ready she hopped and Sahara and started trotting her away, knowing Sage would catch up.

Sage sighed and nodded. He worked on taking down their fort and everything, and when he looked back he was surprised to see the hole. He let out an impressed grunt when she trotted off, exchanging a glance with chaos before hopping on and trotting after the girl. "You can sneak in through my window and then to your room if you want to go there," he called over, the wind having picked up already. "Drop off the horses first though," he noted, heading to the barn. He made sure the horses were cozy in their stalls before heading back towards the castle.

Quinn nodded. She jumped off Sahara near the Stables, bowing her head in the fierce wind. Quinn led her horse to the last stall, untacking her and brushing her down. Then Quinn headed to Sage's window. The rain was starting to fall, more like frozen icicles stabbing from the sky.

Sage followed the girl back to his window, helping her up and making sure she didn't fall asleep she climbed into the window. He followed her up, the rain making it much harder than it needed to be, and by the time he hauled himself up and into his room, he sort of just flopped on the floor, wheezing out a laugh at their whole predicament before kicking the window shut. There wasn't really a seal, though, so his room was freezing, and he was already shivering. He'd dry off and change...that should help. But there was only a thin blanket in here. Oh well, he supposed he was used to it.

Quinn practically fell headfirst into his room. "Slippery." She commented, standing up and shivering. She looked around in the desolate room. "He is most assuredly going to freeze to death." Quinn thought. She thought about something else, giving a little wince before clearing her throat. "Hey Sage.." she started, stopping then going on. "My room has two beds, and it's really warm, if you don't like to stay out the storm there's." Quinn finished. She didn't want Sage to refuse... because it really was a wasteland in here. Quinn shifted her weight, then back again as she waited for an answer

Sage opened his eyes when the girl spoke up, and gave her a rather surprised look at her offer. He certainly hadn't expected that. His brain circled around for a moment before he realized she was waiting for an answer, so he blinked and forced his thoughts back together. "I....yeah, ok," he eventually got out. "thanks." He sat up with a kind of groan and sighed. "I'll dry off and change and I'll head down...don't wait up for me, you'll freeze and catch a cold, and I don't feel like kissing you if your sick on our wedding day," he joked lightly as he wandered into his closet to grab some fresh clothes.

Quinn nodded, walking out the door and trying to remember the way to her room. She walked quietly down the hall, entering a room and seeing her bag on one of the beds. "Phew.." she murmured. Quinn opened the bag, trying to find anything but dresses. When she couldn't, she dumped all of them out but two and put in Sage's shirts and sweatshirts she borrowed. Then Quinn quickly changed into a shirt, putting on a sweatshirt over it. Surprisingly they weren't too long, just a Little... baggy. That was okay, though. Quinn let her hair out of the ponytail and brushed it, wondering if her mother would notice she was in and whip her for staying away for so long. "And that's why she always packs a red dress." Quinn muttered with scorn. "So no one sees the blood soaking through."

Sage slid into the bathroom to slide out of his wet clothes and undergarments, drying off and changing into new and dry ones. His hair was still wet, but he dried it off as best he could with a towel before sliding out of his room. He pattered down the hallways, looking around and hiding if anyone came down the hallways. He really didn't want to deal with his father or his heavy hand right about then. Well, he never did, but he really really didn't right then. He knocked on her door to let Quinn know he was there before slipping and and glancing around, closing the door behind him. He chuckled when he noticed the girl wearing his clothes, but it was nice to know something he did helped her.

Quinn glanced up, slightly startled at the knock. At his chuckle she glared at him. "Don't laugh at me, it's no time my fault my mom doesn't let me bring normal clothes." Quinn rolled her eyes, though there was a hint of laugh in her voice. She glanced at the clock, seeing it was getting late. Quinn walked over to the window and made sure it was shut tight before peering out at the Howling wind. The rain pounded against the castle, like it was trying to break down the walls. She could see flashes of lighting, then the thunder was so loud it shook the room. "Big storm." She muttered, sitting on his bed with Her knees near her chest.

Sage chuckled again and shook his head, going over to peer out the window with her. "No, no...I was laughing at your mother for packing those," he hummed in amusement, jerking his head towards her pile of dresses. He peeked out the window heasitantly and grunted in agreement to her next comment. In all truth, he wasn't a fan of storms. It was cheesy, and rather pathetic, he thought, but the flashes of light and loud noises triggered memories he definitely didn't want to remember.
