He smiled when he saw the number and then raised his eyebrows and whistled. "Wowza. I was out for quite a while then." It was a bit shocking to know he'd been gone for that long...he knew it would be a while but he hadn't expected to measure it in months. He leaned over and pecked a kiss on her cheek. "Worth it to know you got away safe though," he chirped. |

Maxine gave a nod "Understand now why I was so worried?" She chuckled lightly sitting on the bed beside him giving a nod "I did... And I did everything I could to keep the two of us safe..." She said gently leaning over onto him "I missed you so much..." She said gently before she slipped her tank top back on. |

He nodded and wrapped his arm around her and leaned his head on her shoulder. "Yeah...I missed you too." He was glad they were finally back together. They were safe..other demons or monster hunters might come looking for them, but he had killed Roxie and he could kill them as well. They could start a life together now, raise a kid, have a family. |

Maxine gave a smile and hugged him playfully tackling him "We could stay here for a while you know..." she said "What do you think?" she asked "At least while Roxie is still out of commission..." she pointed out "Gives us time to make some money at least." |

He chuckled and nodded. "It would be as safe to stay here as anywhere else. We could stay here as long as we need." He smirked and winked. "Besides we have stuff to catch up on," he all but purred silkily, teasing her. |

Max smiled "Good i'm glad." she cooed happily. It felt good to finally settle down somewhere... and now that they were together it was even better. "Oh really huh?" she asked curiously "Why don't you inform me...?" she purred playfully a mischevious light in her eyes. |

He smirked wider and propped himself up on his elbows so he could kiss her deeply even though she was halfway in top of him already. "I think you know," he murdered, his voice low and sulky. |

Maxine giggled "Perhaps I do." she chuckled kissing him back as she strattled him cupping his cheeks with her hands. It felt a bit awkward with her belly now but with her senses heightened and the overwhelming joy she felt now that he was back... she ignored it completely and continued to show her love for Sage. After a while she was curled up beside him her head on his chest the two of them buried underneath the covers a small purr rumblng in her throat. |

Sage hadn't felt this relaxed in a very long time, and it was good to be able to do this with Maxine again, even if the slight bumb on her belly made some things awkward. He ran his fingers through her hair absentmindedly, his eyes closed as he rested there. |

Max smiled "Can you still hear it...?" she asked him her eyes fluttering open "The heartbeat I mean..." she said softly "Is it strong...?" she asked her blue eyes looking up at him. |
