Anya shook her head slightly with a bit of a sigh. "I'm not all that convinced they're actually going to try and keep things peaceful. We've not been on the best terms for a while," she murmured before looking to Sage with a cocked head. "You know," she sarted, shaking her head slightly, "it's the first thing I'm organising. If the castle isn't ready, then it'll be my fault... so that's why everyone is running around like their buts are on fire," she murmured with slightly pursed lips.

Sage wrinkled his nose slightly when the girl expressed her concerns, and then gave her a slightly sympathetic look when she told him it was all her doing. Was her mother not helping at all? You would think if there was this much in the line the queen would at least care enough to help her daughter out. He was losing more and more respect for the woman the more he knew about her, and was admittedly starting to regret saving her all those years ago. It certainly hadn't helped anyone by keeping her around. "You'll do fine," he assured the girl. "If something does go wrong, it's going to be because they wanted something to go wrong before they even got here, not because you messed something up."

Anya pursed her lips slightly as he'd mentioned it'd all be fine... she wasn't too sure. Royals... they got so fired up about the most stupid things. If they felt like they were being even slightly disrespected, or undermined, then they'd be in trouble. Still, she didn't need anyone worrying. She'd have it all sorted... there was a few days left until anyone arrived, and with everyone going full blow, they'd be done in no time. "I suppose you're right," she murmured softly before shaking her head and turning to the doctor. "Would you mind watching Att for me? I don't need him causing trouble while this is going on," she asked quietly. She would have asked Sage... but she'd said she didn't want the boy around him, not until he was better and she really did mean it. He seemed like he was improving, but she was still very cautious about him being around Att.

Sage pursed his lips slightly when Anya turned to the doctor to ask about Att...he knew she didn't want the boy around him, but it still made his chest ache in an all too familiar way. So he just sort of ducked his head and focused on doing the work he was doing ..counting out pills and putting them in the little cups. The doctor nodded at Anya and grunted in what sage had grown to know as a sound of agreement. "As long as he promises to stay quiet and not bother the patients," he told the girl. "Can't have him coming in and running about like a wild banshee, now." Sage normally would have gotten a chuckle out of that, but he found it better in that situation to just stay quiet and count out pills. He didn't want to make anything worse than it already was, and he didn't exactly have a good history or comforting Anya when she was upset. At least, not recently. Anything he said she seemed to get more upset about, so maybe if he just kept his mouth closed she'd be alright.

Anya gave the doctor a thankful smile and a bit of a nod. It'd be helpful... it really would. And she really didn't need the child running around while she was sorting this meeting of theirs out. Or while she was in it, for that matter. "I'll be good, I'm sure he'll be fine... I'll give him a book or something to work on so he stays out of your way. He's a good kid, so I'm sure you won't have any issues," she hummed slightly as a thoughtful look crossed her face. "They'll be here on Thursday. If you could keep an eye on him that evening that'd be amazing," she told him, giving a slight sigh.

The doctor nodded and grunted when Anya told him they'd be here Thursday, no doubt thinking the same thing Sage was. They were both pretty quiet, but that told you their brains were running about a mile a minute. After a moment, the doctor waved Anya on. "Well go on, we shouldn't keep you waiting when you have so much to do," he told the girl. "If you need help I have a volunteer I can tell to go do stuff," he half chuckled nodding in Sage's direction, who by then had gotten distracted and was looking through empty pull bottles like they were binoculars. Sage looked over at the doctor and shrugged before giving Anya a crooked grin. "I suppose I can't argue with that," he chirped, more than happy to help if she needed it.

Anya kind of just stood there while the doctor and Sage went quiet, not really sure what to do with herself for a moment or so. She cocked he head a little when the doctor offered Sage up, and only looked more confused when he agreed to it. "You want to help?" She asked quietly before giving a small smile. "Yeah, alright." The girl looked to the docter with a slightly bigger smile and a bit of a nod. "Thank you again," she hummed before making her way out of the ward, but not before beckoning Sage to follow her. "I need to sort out the dining hall, make sure everything is all sorted," she told him, although, they might not even need to use it... it was just encase someone went wandering. The more decour and tarps they had up, the more power that indicted they had.

Sage grinned and practically lept at the chance to go help with something. He'd been fine with counting out pills, but he was pretty much done with it, and walking around doing something more active was definitely more up his alley. The doctor probably knew that, which was why he'd told him to go help the girl rather than stay in the ward. He nodded when the girl told him what she had to do, and he was more than happy to help, even if he was a bit shy out and around all the other people. He kind of watched them all warily, eyes farting about to take everything in and shying away from loud noises or crowds, almost like a mouse might in a room full of people. He wasn't necessarily scared of them ..just cautious. "I'm going to assume it's a long the lines of make everything as fancy as possible," he hummed. He could help decorate...he was artsy, so it could be fun.

Anya looked back at him and gave a slight nod. "Yep! Lots of decorating to be done. You can help with colours," she told him quickly... it'd be nice to have him help out things up... it meant she wouldn't have to wait for one of the staff to be free to help her up. Once they got to the dining hall, she wandered over to one of the larger windows, where there was a seat that doubled as a type of long chest. She moved the decorative cushions and opened the lid up before pulling out three massive tarps. It looked as though she had trouble lifting the top of each one up. "Right," she sighed before pointing at the tarps. "Red, blue, or purple?"

Sage chuckled and nodded at the girl's response. It was as he had figured...the more they had out, the more it meant they had money and power and whatever else the higher ups were trying to tell eachother. He pursed his lips when she held up the tarps and surveyed the room before wandering over to look out all the windows and then back over the table. "What color are your dishes? And this other kingdoms colors? And what are you and Luther going to be wearing? You'd better match. And your mom, too, if she'll be here." Well, now he was going into a bit of an overdrive with this, but goodness if they had to set this up glamorously then it was going to be done right and perfectly. He marched over to the chest before peering in and rummaging about in the other gazillion things in the chest, randomly asking Anya just as many questions as before. Maybe he was a bit much, but the girl wouldn't mind if he sort of took over decorations, right? He was good at it, and she couldn't do everything herself. Plus, whoever was supposed to be in charge of it (if it wasn't just Anya) was...well ...not there, so he was going to do it and he was going to put full effort into it. "You can't expect me to do everything if I don't know all the details," he huffed, though not in an annoyed way.
