Sage chuckled slightly and shrugged. "I have to be scary from time to time, I suppose," he mused. He also figured the way he dealt with things like that, and with death, and killing other people...everything that went along with that...he was different than the people who didn't grow up in that situation. A lot of things he'd seen and done, most people would call morbid or disgusting, or whatever else they called it. He chuckled at Anya's second comment, too, and hummed in agreement. "He does what needs to be done, and nothing more." That was a good thing, though, and he had to give it to the boy. "He'll make a good king. Not prone to violence but knows when and how to use it." Then he winked at Anya. "And you'll keep him on his toes," he chuckled.

Anya gave a small chuckle before shaking her head. "I was worried Luther would start a war before he even got to the throne," she chuckled quietly before looking to Sage. "He wasn't always so.... I don't know how to put it, chilled out? When we were fifteen he managed to start an argument between two other kingdoms, all because of a stupid joke he made at some banquet. Thank god they sorted it out themselves or we'd be dragged into war," she told him with an amused chuckle. She kind of glanced Sage up and down as she thought about what he'd said. "Well, you don't seem like you'd be scary until it actually happens," she told him with a soft chuckle.

Sage raised an eyebrow at Anyas story and chuckled." So Mr. Puppy Dog had a bite at one point," he hummed in a rather amused tone of voice. "I can see it," he mused. "Though, I do say I like him much better following you around." He gasped dramatically when she said he wouldn't be scary and put a hand over his heart in mock offense. Then he broke down in a giggle and shook his head. "surprise is my best weapon. If I look harmless, I can do more damage." He shrugged slightly and grinned, though it was more of a creepy looking smile than an actual smile. "Easier to kill someone who's playing with you than to kill someone who knows they're up against a seasoned fighter."

Anya wrinkled her nose at his creepy little grin before patting the horses side gently. "Why do you like him?" She asked the horse in a teasing tone before looking back to Sage. "What so you pick on the people who don't actually want to hurt you?" She asked with a cocked head, obviously a little confused. Or maybe he just meant the people that were acting as though they were being decent. "And Luther isn't a puppy dog... he's more like a pack horse," she prompted with a small chuckle. "You, however, are just weird. Take that smile off your face!" She told him, but really she was more amused than anything.

Sage chuckled and shook his head. "Theyre all trying to kill you, it's just easier to get a decent hit in while they're still laughing rather than attacking," he explained. "I'm tiny, I'll get whacked and my head will go flying," he chuckled, obviously exaggerating things a bit. He snorted out a laugh and shrugged at Anya calling Luther a pack horse...it was accurate, he supposed, given the boys large abundance of body. He grinned wider when she told him to get the smile off his face, though by then it was more teasing than anything.

Anya hummed thought for a moment before sitting up so that she was crossed legged next to him. "I suppose that makes sense. And, you are tiny so I suppose your caution is valid," she agreed with a teasing chuckle. It wasn't exactly the nicest thing to say, but he'd just said it, and it was true to some extent. She could only be amused by his slightly bigger grin, though. "Oh, I've actually still got that suit of yours. The one you were being measured up for? I wasn't sure if you were coming back or not so I never got rid of it. I don't know when you're planning on leaving again, but you can have it if you want... sell it or something."

Sage chuckled slightly and hummed in agreement. He raised an eyebrow when Anya said she still had that outfit. He was honestly surprised...he figured she'd have just gotten rid of it or told the tailor to forget it. "You still have that," he asked, though she'd obviously just told him the answer. He chuckled slightly and shrugged, cocking his head as he thought. "Well, it probably wouldn't fit anymore," he mused. "I don't particularly care what happens to it, but you bought it so I'm going to let you do what you want with it." He chuckled and grinned over at the girl. "I doubt I'll be wearing it, unless something drastic happens and I have to."

Anya chuckled softly before giving him a nod. "Of corse we kept it," she murmured with a slight smile. "It was yours," she noted quickly before giving a thoughtful look. "I mean, I don't have anything to do with it," she noted with a small laugh. "Saying that, it'd probably fit me," the girl gave him a teasing grin. "Don't you think I'd look fetching if a suit?" She might just sell it... really, the money wasn't much to her, but it'd help Sage, and she knew he wasn't likely to take much off her family. If he knew the money came from something that was his, then maybe he'd be more interested in accepting it.

Sage snickered and raised an eyebrow. "you paid for the whole thing. And dragged me along to and from the tailor's shop. You definitely had something to do with it," he chuckled. Then he snorted. "You'd look good in pretty much anything," he pointed out. "It would be easier to do things in than those giant skirts you wear everywhere though," he hummed in a sort of teasing way, tugging on the edge of the skirt gently. He really didn't care what Anya did with the suit ...he knew she'd try to help him as much as possible, but having much money on his was more dangerous than not having any.

Anya stuck her bottom lip out when he tugged on the edge of her skirt before raising a brow. "Really? I quite like them," she hummed after a moment before giving a soft chuckle. "I'll find something to do with it," she noted before standing up. "I'm going to get some lunch... you coming or are you just happy to fall asleep on the horse," she asked with a slightly amused chuckle. (I was thinking we maybe have the rival kingdom come over say for like a meeting or something... then the rebellion kind of takes over and that's when they get taken? Just wanted to confirm how we're doing that lol)
