Sage hummed softly and nodded. "I guess," he noted. "I just wish we could figure anything out."

Celeste nodded, closing her eyes. "Me too,"

Sage nodded, just relaxing in her lap. The weres had given them the day to themselves, but tomorrow it was back at it again

Celeste ran her fingers through his hair, scratching his scalp gently, just the way he liked.

Sage smiled softly when he felt her nails start moving along his scalp, eventually just drifting off in her lap

Celeste smiled, continuing even while he slept.

Sage rested there for a while, but forced himself to actually wake up after a few hours, knowing the kids would need dinner and everything soon. He sort of peered up at her with a groggy smile when his eyes opened, yawning wide enough for his canines to flash in the sun before he closed his mouth again and settled down

Celeste smiled down at Sage. "I love those fangs of yours," she whispered.
