Camery looked back after a moment, the speakers picking up his voice as she answered questions. It was all terrifying to her. She did love him, but she didn't think she could bring herself to ever like him, not trust hima gain. Especially not now. How had she never seen him before? Surely he would have made apearances... maybe not. She kept her head down, hating the noise and the chatter of it all. She heard his final statement before she was out of reach from the speakers. Her heart was thumping and her stomach was in her throat. It all felt awful. This was a new King. He would have rebellions, attacks, and war would be more likely than ever. She'd never stepped foot in the Night Kingdom before, and right then all she wanted was to leave. The walk back was slow, though when they made it to their transport, it was gone. Jack cursed under his breath, and Cam just stared into the distance. It was dangerous, all of it, and she couldn't help the quiet hitch in her breath as she tried to fill her lungs. "We'll be walking, I take it then," Camery muttered softly, her eyes red as she thought about it all. Jack nodded. "Quickest way is to cut through the boarders here and wrap around. It won't be safe. not right now."

Camery and Jack walked for what seemed like hours, although was mybe only fifteen minutes, cutting through the town and fields until they'd made their way into a tiny village. It was quaint, quiet... it seemed a nice place to settle down for the night before moving forwards in the morning. It was already pretty late as it was. They walked in silence, the castle still in view. "Do you think he's okay?" Cam blurted out, her voice hushed. "Who? Mr Negri?" He muttered to her. "No, probably not. He's just lost his father, now the child has to take on a kingdom, one that's already on it's way out," he almost spat, although he went stiff when he spotted guards in the corner. Camery's markings were still showing, as were a few of Jack's. Neither of them looked like they belonged here. Light features, the markings. Fuck, the markings. They'd tried to hide them, but when Jack's robe dropped as they walked, their Kingdom's emblem stood out on his tie. Shit. The guards marched towards them purposefully, their shoulders squared and their heads up, making them look as big as possible. The two of them just froze, not willing to put up a fight. Jack was ready to jump into action if need be, but as of then, doing anything would just provoke them. Their voices bellowed, telling them to stand still and turn around, and to put their arms out. There was no room for negotiation... they'd be going into holding in their castle, no ifs or buts. "Camery," Jack whispered as they walked, his face still stoic, not at all worried. Someone would be coming for them. "If we get split up - be quiet, do as you're told," he whispered. "We'll be out of... wherever we're going soon," he then added. Cam just nodded softly. She was scared - she didn't want to be anywhere near that awful place. Thankfully, though, they didn't get split, instead put in what she could only describe as a cage together. They'd be fine... sit tight for a few weeks before going home if they could.

Camery stood still as they approached, her jaw clenched ready to be shouted at. Surprisingly.... it never happened. If anyone from the night kingdom had been caught in their land, they'd be imprisoned immediately, not giving them the chance to do any harm and then they'd question them aand set them free. Cam drew in a sharp breath. "We're just passing through," Jacks voice answered for her. It was loud and... it was so affirming. Only castle workers would carry the single on them, workers of the royal family itself. They couldn't give them their destination, either... that would only end badly. They didn't need to know where they were planning on going.

Camery Valatieri - Camery shifted a little uncomfortably when they started getting asked questions. It was... well, it was scary. This whole place was terrifying... she knew Malakai - well, this king had said they wanted to stop the war. But there'd always be people who didn't think quite the same as him. That was scary. You didn't know whose those people were, or what they were thinking or... "I have my batton," Jack answered, pulling the small, folded into itself defence weapon for them to look through. "And my gun," he added. His voice pulled Cam out of her thoughts, and she was about to reply to where they were going. Obviously, his thoughts were the same as hers, as he quickly interrupted. "Unfortunately, we can't disclose that information," he answered carefully.

Camery Valatieri - Jack nodded, pulling the liscance out and handing it to him. When they kept pushing for their destination, Camery physically swallowed a lump in her throat. "We can't do that right now, I'm afraid," she continued, her voice soft. She didn't want to seem like they were hiding anything... well, they were, but they were so unsafe right now.
