"I don't....easily trust." He muttered, kissing her lightly. He played with her hair still, his other arm around her

Morgan hummed softly to him, resting her head on his shoulder. "I know you don't," she murmured softly to him, flashing him a gentle smile. "You don't have to trutst anyone, either. I'm here, if you get uncomfortable, let me know, yeah?" She asked softly and gently wrapped her arms around him. "I'll be right by your side, no problems," she promised gently.

sry, been busy helping my best friend move) Caleb nodded, smiling softly at her, though it was more forced than anything. He sat beside her and listened to the thoughts downstairs curiously. Nothing interesting was currently running through anyone's head, so he just kissed the top of Morgan's head before laying down. He pulled her onto his chest, holding her tightly and feeling as though nothing could harm her with him around.

Morgan squeaked when he pulled her down, but burried her head into his chest firmly. She felt safe... but all she wanted was for him to feel safe too. She'd make sure he would, somehow. She looked up at him after a moment, her eyes soft. "You don't have to go down there if you don't want to. They'll understand. We can eat up here," she offered gently after a moment, wrapping an arm tightly around his side. She didn't want to push him out of his comfort zone... and if she could help it, she wouldn't. All she wanted was for him to feel safe with her.

"It's fine, i'll still go down" He muttered, thinking. "Not a very good look for me as your boyfriend either if i'm not even talking ot your family." He added quietly after a moment. He stayed there, thinking of what they might become as a couple. Eventually graduate, and maybe move in together

Morgan sighed softly, and leaned up to peck his cheek. "Just do what you're comofrtable with, yeah? We're not forcing you into anything," she promised him. She looked up at the clock... it had been about an hour. "Let's head down and help set up, hm?"

Caleb nodded and got up, standing and sighing before taking her hand. He gave her a small smile and headed downstairs to help. He smiled in greeting to her parents before helping set out silverware. once everything was set out, Caleb sat down and tried to keep up a smile. Edited at January 24, 2025 03:31 PM by Blue Diamond

Morgan smiled lightly as they wandered down stairs... thankfully, both her siblings were out. Her bother was working, and her sister was staying over with some friends... so it just meant that Caleb only had to face her parents. They were good, truely good people. She trusted them to make sure Caleb felt safe with them. She helped to set up with a smile across her face, happily chatting to her parents to keep the conversation away from Caleb. He didn't need to be bombarded with questions. Soon, though, they settled down at the table happily, Morgan still chatting before they started to eat. It was quiet for a few moments, until her father looked over at the boy on the table. "So, Caleb. Where did the two of you meet?" He asked lightly, a smile spread across his face.

Caleb listened to the talking and heard the question mentally before verbally. "At school, sir" He said quietly, clearing his throat soon after and eating once more
