Sage glanced over at her in response to her question, surprised. "Of course not! Why would I be," he asked.

"Because you seem frustrated. I can feel you're tense." She muttered, burying her face in his side

Sage hummed softly and shook his head. "I'm a little worried," he admitted. "I just don't want you feeling bad." He kissed her head. "But I'm ok."

Sage hummed softly and nodded. "I know. You don't seem sick," he mused. "Just focus on resting. We'll be fine," he hummed lightly

"Yeah." She mumbled, sighing. Amira tipped her head up to kiss him, then closed her eyes, trying to fall asleep. Her phone rang again. "Shit." She said, grabbing it. She hung up and tossed it aside.

Sage kissed her back and relaxed with her, scowling when her phone rang. "Just block him. At the very least it won't ring and bother you," he suggested, reaching for her phone to frown at the large number of missed calls and texts.

"Not too worried with you here." She muttered

Sage hummed softly and nodded, setting her phone to the side. She fell asleep soon after that, and he was content to stay there with her. Though, when like called again he slid out from under her and answered the phone. "You know, if you really cared about her you'd let her sleep," he noted, moving to the other room so he wouldn't wake her.

Amira slept unaware of the conversation. "And you would leave her alone." Luke counters. "As long as you're around, Amira won't be happy. She was happy with Caleb." Edited at November 26, 2024 12:43 PM by Blue Diamond
