Nate crossed his arms. "Shes my baby, if you crash her you're fixing her." He said firmly, but he was playing. He flinched as she took her hands off the wheel. "If you do that on the way back I'm grounding you from driving." He waved a finger, obviously a little tense but playing it off. He didn't want to be a huge bother while she was driving.

"Duly noted. Does that mean I don't have to worry about fixing you, just the car?" Tempe asked sarcastically, sticking her tongue out at him playfully for the flinch. "Oh, whatever will I do? It's not like there's someone who drives me around literally everywhere sitting within five feet of me. Guess I'll have to start ordering taxis." She teased, pulling into the bar parking lot easily. It looked a little bit southern, a few bikes parked out front and a few muddy, jacked up trucks. She parked easily and hopped out, tilting her head at the place with interest.

"..yes." He smiled innocently, turning into a glare. "I haaave to cuz apparently you cant just teleport there or something." He rolled his eyes. He looked around at the parking lot. "Aaah this is gonna be a great evening." He said as he stepped out, stretching. He grinned brightly over at her and walked up to the door, opening it- it had a little dingy bell. He let her go in first.

"I'm so sorry that I was assigned to protect your existence, I'll ride on the roof next time." Tempe quipped, following him happily. She slipped in through the door when he held it for her, smiling at the atmosphere and glancing back to make sure He was following. She led him to the bar lightly and sat down, looking around at the somewhat loud music and taking in the sound of overlapping conversations.

"I hope you don't plan on driving from up there." He gave her a very serious look while teasing. He turned into the doorway and glanced around, stepping in time with the music as he walked in. He was really showing off how little he cared about what he did in public. He smiled at her and sat down. He elbowed her, giggling. "See? Bars are fun."

"I do, actually. I'm gonna use my jedi-mind powers on the way home." Tempe grinned, snickering at him and his little stepping in time. "Sure, they are. Do you want your shot of choice now, or later?" She teased, glancing around. The dart board was empty, but it looked like the group of bikers were hogging the pool table. A few of them glanced over at her- She was one of about four or five women in the small, crowded bar.

He rolled his eyes. "I'll get my shot laterrr." He wasn't too thrilled about not drinking but he was glad to be there. He eyed the people around, then the bartender got to them. B "what canni getcha?" A fast speaker with a bit of a drawl. "Shirley temple for me." He said with a decision in his mind. He reached for his wallet, placing a bill on the counter.

"I don't need anything." Tempe said, waving her hand dismissively and observing the goings on in the bar with a smile. It had been a long time since She had gone to a place like this- or any social gathering, in fact. She still seemed to fit in rather well.

He was pretty smiley regardless of his sobriety. Which he still felt completely unnecessary and annoying but he did it anyway and he wasn't sure why. He glanced around, noticing a larrrge man, who was staring at them. Then he whistled. CC "looky there! First pretty lady I've seen through here today." He grinned at her in a manner that was slightly intimidating Nate. "Psst I think you've caught the shark's eye."

Tempe blinked and looked around at the whistle, raising her eyebrows. She tilted her head in a half surprised-half flattered manner. She looked over at Nate with a slight smile. "First time I've caught anyone's eye in a long time." She muttered.
