He sent a small glare at West when he admitted that it was his doing, but wasn't really mad. He then observed how to play with the young buck. Once West was done showing him how to play Duke nodded. "So like this," he asks slowly and jumps towards the buck some who immediately ran after Duke. Duke laughed and cantered around, careful of the other animals, and tried to avoid the young deer. Wither awoke to the ruckus and her and the young deer beside her watched Duke and the buck. Wither looked at the deer beside who looked at her and they both shook their heads as if they were thinking the same thing.

West glanced at Wither, seeing the doe's and hers expression. He stifled a laugh and turned his attention back to Duke. "Exactly like that. See? You have a new best friend." West snorted, laughing. He walked a little closer to a Wither, watching Duke and the buck race in circles.

Wither giggled as Duke continued to race around. The two reared at each other and bounced back and forth before switching positions, Duke now chasing the buck. She looked up as West approached and smiled some at him. The doe beside her watched West and kind of tensed up before relaxing, seeing that West was not aggressive.

West didn't get too close, knowing doe' she could sometimes get scared of stallions. He smiled as he watched Duke and the buck race around in circles, rearing and bucking. West was happy Duke was entertained, and Wither was happy. He swished his ears and lowered his head, closing his eyes and resting for a couple moments.

The doe stood and nuzzled Wither before trotting back to her herd where one of the older does was calling for her. Wither slowly raised to her feet and went over and stood beside him as he lowered his head to rest for a moment. She watched as Duke and the buck continued to play and guessed that they would be like that for a good while. 'The they will lay down and pass out," she thinks.

West shook his head slowly and raised it, trying to think of something to do. He really didn't have the energy to play right now... but sleeping more didn't sound too enticing either. West just concluded he would have to watch Duke and the buck play. He tipped his head and continued watching, feeling like something was... off

She continued to watch the two play and giggled some more. "They look like a couple of colts playing," she says to West while giggling some more. She notices West tilting his head and asks, "Is something wrong?" She had been around West long enough to tell if something was bothering him.

West smiled slightly. Yes... they did look like colts. He glanced at Wither with a sigh. "That's the problem... I don't know. Something just feels.... off." He answered, thinking. West didn't know why something felt off.. it just did.

She listened as as West spoke and nodded. "I see," she says slowly, "like something bad is going to happen? Or like someone here doesn't belong?" Wither didn't think anything seemed off but she trusted West. He did have more survival knowledge than her since he had lived alone longer than she had.

West flicked his ears, letting out a small chuckle. "Nothing is wrong with our surroundings, and nothing bad is going to happen. I just feel like something is wrong with ME. Something feels off... but it doesn't really matter." West shook his head, glancing at Wither to see how she'd react. It definitely wasn't something important or he'd have noticed long before now.
