Sage played with Annie until she told him she was upset and then nodded. "Why don't I go find her," he mused after a moment. "Will you be alright by yourself," he asked her, and when she said she'd be fine, he wandered off to find Cass. He followed her tracks to where she was sitting down and sat down next to her. "What's wrong,* he asked gently.

Cass jumps a bit before saying " well next time tell me you near or you scare me " as she shakes her head before sighing hard and said " is nothing you can do about it " as she looks over at him before looking away and then said "you know I am not mad at you ill never will be "

Sage hummed slightly and nodded. "Sorry," he chuckled with a sheepish grin. "I figured you'd hear me stomping around in here," he noted with amusement. He'd tried to be quiet actually...it was habit to move around without a noise...but he could still try to lighten up the conversation. "I know...but I want to know how to help you. You're stressed out," he told her. "And even if it's just standing next to you to support you...I want to be able to help." Then he looked over at her and met her eyes. "But you have to let me," he finished quietly.

Cass looks back at him and then said " I don't want to have you be stress out like i am " as she softly smiles slightly but it disappears fast as she looks away and said " I am sorry that soldier showed up he should have not shown up then this wouldn't happen " as she looks back at the water she really didn't care if he stay near to her she did injoy his company

Sage sighed softly and nodded when she didn't tell him why she was so upset. That was her business, but he didn't know how to help her. "Do you want me to leave you alone," he finally asked softly. She may not be mad at him, but he could probably be annoying her a great deal if she didn't want him here. And admittedly, he was terrified of making her upset with him. Part of it knew it was coming, the other part was desperatly hoping it would never happen.

Cass places a hand on his arm and said " no I appreciate you coming and you can stay " as she looks at him before sighing and said " well no point not letting you know why I am mad " as she looks back at the water and said " before I even became a guard I had training in the army while in training our trainers sent me soldier and three of my best friends with us to a hot spot where our enemies where half way there soldier abandon us and left us to finish our mission when we got there they were ready for us I was the only one who made it out alive, but it doesn't stop there " as she sighed then said " when I got back I was arrest for killing my teammates and when I was being drag away I saw soldier smirk will I was going and from this day I don't trust, like and being friends with him even through I hugged him I didn't want to yell at him infront of Annie "

Sage nodded and stayed there quiet next to her, not wanting to talk in case she got upset about it and told him to leave. When she started talking though, he looked over at her, growing more and more angry at the other man the more she talked. "Then I'll take care of him," he grumbled. "Why didn't you just say he couldn't br trusted? I would have asked him to help with something or something and killed him where Annie wouldn't know any better." He wrinkled his nose. "He's fooled you before, and I can't trust him now...why not get rid of him before it's too late?" He didn't understand...she'd told him he was a friend, and now she was saying he was an evil manipulator. Well, which was it? It couldn't be both.

Cass looks at him before looking away and said " he is my responsibility to end when he has done but that doesn't always mean killing him " as she looks back at him and said " I know you never trusted him I could seen that in the way you guys spoke to each other " before looking around and said " anyways I think you right about taking the roads you met up with those people we are walking through they would send you across to a island jail and beat you to death "

Sage grunted and nodded. "Right, but now he knows our plans," he pointed out. "He's a very real, very presant danger," he groaned, shaking his head. "What else would you do? We don't exactly have a jail here, and I don't want to try and outwit him...he's smart, and that takes too much time." He chuckled slightly at her comment about him getting beat to death and shrugged. "They'd have to catch me first," he msued lightly. "But I do agree we should...not go that direction," he noted in a more serious manner.

Cass looks at him before saying " not really I know a off road that he doesn't know about so all we have to do is lose him " before giving him a glare and said " you won't be running cause you have a gun in your hand silly " before laughing and shaking her head then looks away before saying " losing him is easy it part of my training "
